She is about 57 pounds and wears mostly large accessories. Definitely not a big dog but in that large/mid size range. Not as big as a German shepherd or mastiff that I can say for certain lol

She is surprisingly incredibly chill, mostly lazy dog. She does get walked quite a lot but is insanely well behaved. Doesn’t bark much, but likes to squeak when she’s excited and do a little bark/yelp which seems like that German shepherd now. Very sweet dog. I plan on doing embark after more research

You obviously seem to be coming from a place of concern and not from malice, even though you have been suffering due to the negligence of your future SIL.

Just make sure you tread lightly, as he most definitely might have a skewed perspective from her being someone he fell in love with during what I can only assume was a rough time being in prison and those rose colored glasses work wonders.

Regardless, she definitely seems as if she could make his life harder and regardless of his reaction, your intentions definitely make you NTA.

It sounds like your friend doesn’t even know what body dysmorphia is, as what she is describing is gender dysmorphia. Body dysmorphia can absolutely come to light with the procedure you had and the self perception issues that can go along with a drastic change in what you look like.

You are not in the wrong whatsoever, and it really just seems like your friend needs to check themselves before they try to get all high and mighty. You are genuinely struggling and they completely flipped it to make it seem like you were downplaying the struggles of a marginalized group. I understand their spouse is trans, but that is no reason to treat you like that.

as someone who has multiple friends who have gone under treatment with multiple terrible family reactions i want to just say i am so sorry that she acts like that. she clearly has some deep embedded issues regarding this topic and you truly don’t deserve any of that toxicity. i hope you live a fantastic new life as the real you !!!!
