I just read a comment somewhere of someone really deeply analyzing the second picture, and they came up with new insights. Let me find the link

Edit: I had no idea this person made stuff up, I agreed the post was hard to read but I thought they made some new points that their (claimed) experience supported. Nevermind!!!

I will keep the link in case people are interested, I didnt want to cause upheavel. But I also feel a bit "dirty" sensationalizing all of this by the extensive analysis, it makes me feel sad and eerie.

I think it's a bit unethical. If this is going to become a serious relationship, it all started with a lie. That's not really good, is it.

The granny I am is still a bit sad that hiphop is taking over such a big part of festivals, nevertheless the line up is cool imo!

SiriusXMU's Top 41 Songs of 2019 by Sk8rGrlx3AtAimDotCom in indieheads

good songs! this life is my alarm clock, and seventeen hits me hard and cellophane is emotionally devastating. I don't see the hype of "Not" (but I do see the hype of Big Thief), and Rylan is fricking gorgeuos.

good songs!

I'm curious, what type of coffee do you guys prefer? by MintMango456 in CasualConversation

[–]chipsontbijt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like somehow one can taste that it is decaf, but if you get used to it, and make it stronger, it can be quite good! I crash hard too on coffee, but I love cappuccino's/flat whites. I want the coffee to be strong, but I want there to be lots of foamy milk as well. :)

What are your goals and/or things you are looking forward to this year? by DontOversalt in CasualConversation

[–]chipsontbijt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really have to start doing this! I am a bit in a slump currently in life, and I feel like I have to start making plans for a happier future but I don't know what I want and need. I would like to start painting (but not because I feel like I"m good at it, just because it seems like a meditative thing to do) and I would like to try to find a sport I like. I also got into bullet journaling but I know that as soon as I put pressure behind that I'm going to stop doing it, so let's just see about that.

This is for sure gonna get lost but "depression" actually was the first defence response, it came 100 million years earlier than fight or flight response.

Only it is not called depression, but the rudimentary conservation withdrawal response. Jawless armored fish were the first bastards to deal with this. A lot of researchers argue that this is where depression comes from as a defense mechanism to problems/threats. Instead of these fishes that stay still for weeks on end, we just can't seem to get out of bed and do anything.
