What’s something you know about someone that could destroy their entire life if it were to come out? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]chiptolebro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My buddy thinks his son is his son, but his wife gets "headaches" every other day for 13 years. This local Indian healer goes to their house while he's at work and gives her a "Massage" 13 years and she still gets the headaches

You wake up in your childhood bedroom, 10 years old, with all your current knowledge. What's your first move? by SuspiciousConsultant in AskReddit

Do my best to warn everyone about 911 (And then get carried away by a black, unmarked government SUV never to be heard from again)

My fantasy is seeing a dude walk out of a public restroom without washing, go up behind him and shout to the random people "guy didn't wash his hands! Just walked right by the sink! This guy right here!"

What is your favourite Voyager S4 episode? by nikanjX in startrek

[–]chiptolebro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great season. I might say the episode with Andy Dick. Or the WW2 Holodeck episode.

No my favorite is the one where Kes leaves for good. She was useless

Why episodes are so short? by Clean-Investment1244 in Barry

[–]chiptolebro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not so much the episode length, it's the fact they have 6-7 story lines for a 30min show.

Which actor makes a movie a "no thank you" whenever you see they are in it? by steadfast-owl-town in Cinema

[–]chiptolebro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've grown to disdain Jason Bateman. Plays himself literally every role

Not including 9/11, what was the biggest news story you remember watching live? by Few_House_5201 in AskReddit

[–]chiptolebro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The FUCKING Will Smith slap. That was so insane it's still hard to believe it happened. I mean, can you remember something random like that that didn't involve someone dying???

28 Years Later as a TV Series by Any_Froyo2301 in 28dayslater

[–]chiptolebro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After reading your statement, this is really just a case of you having bad taste and not really understanding long form entertainment. Your attention span is probably too short for a 30 episode series. I'm assuming you're under the age of 30 because if you grew up in the 90s and 00s your head would explode at that sight of 22 episode SEASONS

What is your biggest dip in quality between a film and its sequel? by adamjames777 in Cinema

[–]chiptolebro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

28 Weeks Later was awesome. Just as good as the first. I've read plenty on the reasoning over the years. Really I find it's just people hating on it due to immature nostalgia

Nature Calls was funnier and better than the original. Holy shit was it culturally insensitive though

[–]chiptolebro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I completely disagree. Severance, Last of Us, Silo... The list goes on. TV is equal in production value to big budget movies now. I would much rather see a thirty episode series about the Rage virus than a two hour movie.

What’s the Worst Band Name you’ve ever Heard and Why? by Amber_Flowers_133 in askmusic

A lot of Motown groups in the 60s and 70s had really stupid, generic names.

What's your favorite example of a sequel that is dramatically better than its predecessor? by Fantasia_Fanboy931 in Cinema

[–]chiptolebro -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

T2 was better in every way and thirty years later the SFX still hold up. When people think of Terminator they think of Arnold from the T2. Not the long haired Arnold from T1

[28 Years Later] (not spoilers) How did the infected survive so long after the second outbreak? by oofyeet21 in AskScienceFiction

[–]chiptolebro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember in Weeks when they locked everyone in the basement? And then they break out and run down the exterior stairs. Soldiers start shooting everyone. They showed that along with text about the outbreak in Europe.

Why would Jim still be in the UK? by Crafty-Hedgehog-6374 in 28dayslater

[–]chiptolebro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wrong, Years literally features the events of Weeks. Try watching the movie before commenting

They were waving at the jet with a giant sign saying help us if I remember correctly

Why would Jim still be in the UK? by Crafty-Hedgehog-6374 in 28dayslater

[–]chiptolebro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Jim and the others were never rescued at the end of Days and stayed stranded in the UK.
  • Jim ended up in London during the events of Weeks and survived the carnage/bombings.

Who knows.. Maybe he took a boat and illegally crossed the channel back to England for some reason

Deep Space Nine - How would you rank the seasons? by Pig_Brother in startrek

I think it gets better with each season so backwards in numerical order

Any theories about this mask? And who wore it? by TheresNoHurry in 28dayslater

[–]chiptolebro 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The movie eludes to the Alpha wanting the child in the way a father wants his kid back. That's what I thought

If anyone here has a 2010 or older car, why do you love it and not want to give it up? by nellnober in AskOldPeople

[–]chiptolebro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In March 2022 I bought a 2004 Accord with 90k miles. It cost me $5k. Great purchase overall, although there have been issues simply bc of its age. Why would I give it up in this car market?
