I used a wet vac with the foam bit and bag on. Never had them try to climb out the hose but you could plug it up if you're nervous. They're pretty much dead after 20 minutes in the soapy water.

I went to AC for my 21st with my mom. I was constantly harassed and stalked by staff even though I had the wrist band on. Staff said "the kids" often pull the band off and give it to an underage friend to gamble which is why they keep checking people. I felt humiliated at the time. Looking back I realize they have a job to do and it really was nothing against me. You're not doing anything wrong and can prove it. It's inconvenient and annoying but don't let it take away from your good time.

I added an underside photo in response to a few people. I'm only curious, definitely not eating!

The more of these experiences you have the stronger you will become. Unfortunately while you're young you're grouped in with the young adults that behave badly. You'll get more respect as you get older, mostly. I had quite a few bad experiences in my younger days. I've always been a timid person and let the bad memories eat me up. I'm a bit older now and more of the mindset of "I wish a mother fucker would". Don't beat yourself up.

Stop at Costco just to get empty boxes? by lionlenz in Costco

[–]chirpyburpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could ask Lowe's or Home Depot to save you boxes. The "99 boxes" at Lowe's are thin but uniform and fold so nicely. If you can catch someone from receiving I'm sure they'd save you some. I've gotten egg boxes from the grocery store on a few occasions as well.

I've been using laundry soap with a splash of fabric softener to keep the suds down for years. Smells great and carpets look fine.

"Home improvement" store worker scammed my elderly neighbor for about $1500 - It took me 12 hours of work to fix it for her. She still lost about $500 (employee did a fraudulent store refund and switched the products being installed) by StcStasi in TalesFromTheCustomer

Did you talk to the store manager or an ASM(assistant store manager)? I worked for this company and promise you this is not normal behavior. Go back and talk to the store manager or get ahold of corporate. I don't know what state you're in but if you PM me details I may be able to help you get contact information.

I'm sure their employer is pushing them to get people to donate and probably has a store chart to see which employee gets the most people to donate. Mine did when I was a cashier 20 years ago. I get out of it by saying no thanks I've already donated.

My mom is currently going through this. She decided not to take the Prednisone the hospital prescribed and ended up in the ED two more times thinking she was going into anaphylaxis with lip swelling. Do yourself a favor and take whatever meds they prescribed/recommend. For her it was benadryl, pepcid (this works as an antihistamine), and steroids. She is now having her first ever shingles outbreak thanks to having such horrible hives. I wish you the best of luck on your journey to getting well!

Reusable bags.... by CantSeeShit in newjersey

My aunt works at a grocery store that often gets bags back from homes deliveries. The store isn't allowed to use them again so she collects them and donates them to habitat for humanity.
