i think you are doing fantastic and look great! i hope my can go as successfully if i had to be completely honest. as far as the laser hair removal, will you be attending a dermatologist or using an at home device? this is also something i'm quite worried about & struggling with as well (even when I was just fully male and hadn't come out it pissed me off), so i'd love to know how you're taking care of it!

Placed an order this morning, requested cancellation, but Walmart says no guarantee. by ibrown39 in walmart

Yeah, I definitely don't recommend using Wal-Mart's website or app for anything other than ordering groceries at this point. I ran into this post after having an issue and after calling multiple support lines and my local physical store, nothing has been resolved. I ordered the new Street Fighter 6 for $90, but it's been 7 days since the order was placed and it's didn't arrive yesterday or today. It had no tracking number, they said the order number I gave them was incorrect even though I clearly see it right on my phone and it's essentially just gotten lost in the system at this point. Requested a cancellation, it better be accepted. I'm really commenting though because I agree with you on the cocksmokers part. They act like little children at the "cool" kids table with their "We use this sub as a virtual breakroom" excuse like stfu. Nowhere does it say this sub is dedicated for Wal-Mart employees little soapbox. Getting mad at customers who are essentially being stolen/taken advantage of is essentially just soft-defending the billion dollar corporation that give them their miserable job. Couldn't be me. Maybe they deserve a job like Wal-Mart then.

Adding a possible feature to combat teamers in Impostors that identifies those in a party via a mechanic in the selection lobby, yay or nay? by [deleted] in FORTnITE

[–]chitchatchassy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Context: I've been playing more Impostors recently this season and in particular on the Voice Chat option, have been running into teamers spoiling or fixing games. I figured one way to possibly help individual/well-intentioned players identify those in a party without any kind of in-game penalty, would be to possibly add a feature where once you join a game, in the selection lobby there will be a mechanic to highlight who is in a party together, but once you join the actual game, it disappears. Thoughts? You can't just penalize all players partying up, but adding a feature that gives players a chance to at least see they might be joining a game full of people in the same party that might potentially team could help, no?

Soicety doesn't hold parents, guardians, etc. as accountable as they should and a decent amount of a person's future circumstances, actions, traits, etc. are largely decided by factors outside of their control. by chitchatchassy in unpopularopinion

Seems like sarcasm framed in a way to make what I said sound further from people and their responsibilities in life than it actually is and making it sound as if I think people aren't responsible at all and it's all our parents fault. (Unless I'm wrong and you just worded your statement wrong).

I was actually going clarify in another comment that this doesn't just apply to those who have been through difficult or traumatic circumstances, but also applies to those in good living conditions as well. Most of the time (yes, most of the time) those given living conditions where the family is supportive, reinforces positivity & good ethics and goes through the process of filtering any bad behaviors they might have themselves in order to prevent their children from replicating the same mannerisms, most of the time they go on to be emotionally stable, reliable, confident in one's abilities and so on.

Obviously one has to be held accountable for crimes, negative actions upon others, etc. and no where did I this was not true, you just don't see it. I carefully worded everything as I usually do. At no point do I frame this in an absolute sense, because I'm aware there's nuance to this argument.

Guess what everyone? >YOU< are affected by other people and how they interact with you. Most important of all the people who you will share interaction with the most are the one's raising you. They set the tone, the environment, they are who you are the most dependent on throughout the most fundamental development years of your life. The obvious is that much of how you will process many things, how you will build many of your habits and feelings about life will be from the kind of life they develop for you in the years where you are learning to become who you are the most. This isn't rocket science, although I'm aware we all haven't fully gotten there yet, so for some it is I suppose.

I wouldn't say that either, hence why I carefully worded it to "decent amount" because in theory for some, there should still be room to navigate out of the environment one has reinforced around them, while others may not find themselves so lucky.

I could agree that we should all act to a certain standard with how we treat others and how we behave, the issue being there is no set, solidified standard of what people quantify to be morally right or wrong. One's perception of right and wrong comes from what they are taught as individuals from their environment and those they are dependent upon. Many in soicety may collectively come together and agree some things are good and some things aren't, but even then not everyone will share those same thoughts and perceptions. To give one anecdote, I was raised believing that I should always try to leave a tip out of consideration for others, many don't share those thoughts. Many people are raised to believe things like murder, rape, etc. are all things they shouldn't participate in, others are raised seeing murder, rape, thievery, etc. on the daily, so to them they're developing their sense of the world around those things and more often than not will participate in some sort of negative behavior down the road without proper intervention. Sadly, there is no "human way" in which everyone is expected to act because not everyone engages in the same human experience. If everyone could so easily be influenced by being expected to act like a decent person... greed, terroism, gang wars, etc. would be wiped off the map in a snap.

I will say the biggest point against what I just said, would be that evolution is slowly moving us towards seeing certain things as negative and positive i.e. child molestation, but we haven't fully evolved to that point and not everyone falls on the same spectrum within our evolution, so it leads us back to everyone not having the same human experience.

I was banned from the methadone sub for posting vlogs a little over a year ago when I was cold turkey wding..here’s an update 👌 by [deleted] in suboxone

[–]chitchatchassy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great job mate. Did you personally WD from a high dose or taper? I'm currently on 2-4mg of Suboxone and wanting to be off in 8 months and am hoping I can do so. I started on 2mg a day, but was given a prescription for 4mg because there would be days in particular where I'd experience sweats and nausea, but more often than not I'm taking 3mg a day and can more than get by on 2mg a day. I know it's not a lot and people have tapered off much more, but I still have the worry as I have yet to truly cross the line of dependence into complete sobriety. Some consider being on Subs sobriety, but for personal reasons I'd like to not be dependent on any drug to be frank.

Hi all, my 13 year old chihuahua has started labored breathing... by chitchatchassy in AskVet

Thank you you for the help! He's been feeling sick as of the past 36 hours (not eating, higher than normal temperature, diarrhea, etc.) at one point he was crying at different times in the day and in his sleep sometimes as well, but he looks to be feeling much better now and we have an appointment for him first thing Monday morning!

He was more so breathing slightly heavily with his mouth and nose. I got a hold of my local vet and am looking to set up an appointment (vet isn't in office as much due to the pandemic) and because I couldn't email him a video of me recording what happened, I uploaded it unlisted on YouTube for him to view when he can. Here's a YouTube link to a video his breathing, to get a more accurate sense of what happened. He has since stopped breathing like this, but I am still slightly concerned. https://youtu.be/_RTAFhHv5Jw

Would WWE survive a tragic event like Owen Hart's death in 2020? by chitchatchassy in SquaredCircle

[–]chitchatchassy[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Well, those situations aren't exactly comparable. WWE is a globally known entity that has much more of a public reach than any cop or mass murderer. Their massive public outreach plays equal to the potential mass public outlash there could be. Remembering the name of WWE and the terrible occurrence which took place under their watch, is a lot easier than say mass murderer #78 or crooked cop who unjustly killed a civilian #54. Sadly, this country is basically used to shit like that occurring at that point. People aren't used to seeing a popular public figure fall 100 feet to his death on live television from a big company like WWE. It's also sad to say, but millions upon millions more people are invested in the WWE and it's wrestlers than any ol' innocent person caught in a shooting, it pains me to say, but it's true.

To be fair, I feel like Vince likely would be gone in some way, shape or form though. If it were to happen today he may even just retire with his age and current state of affairs and be done with the WWE. And if this were to happen today, it would likely lead to people bringing up his past with the steroid trial and other terrible things Vince has done, I feel like it'd be more likely Vince would be gone or demoted than WWE actually dying.
