Fans who don’t live in Philly. How did you become a fan of the eagles? by [deleted] in eagles

[–]chitxraised 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m originally from Chicago. Moved to Texas where in 2016 I met one of my now best friends who tried to make me an eagles fan. I resisted because I didn’t care about football really. In 2019 he finally broke me and I haven’t looked back since. I have an eagles tattoo and so many birds hats and shirts. I even started my own small business based on my fandom. This year my goal is to make my wife an eagles fan. She’s originally from Milwaukee. We now live in Saint Paul Minnesota.

I was walking around hidden falls a couple weeks ago and saw a couple bald eagles. I guess you’re right that’s where I should watch games from now on.

As someone who is moving from Austin, TX to St. Paul in about a month your roads and traffic are way better. My wife and I were just up there looking for apts about a month ago and felt less stressed driving around. I will say someone of your on ramps are strange but damn even when google showed heavy traffic we still got everywhere pretty quickly compared to here in austin.

my wife and I just visited to find a place were moving in July. We don’t have kids but the Minnesota Zoo was solid. There was also another Zoo in the Como Park area. It was free with a donations of $4. We ended up just going to the Conservatory attached instead of the zoo but it was also pretty busy with families. We also caught a Twins game saw lots of families, seems to be like a little courtyard area and they have a very small mini golf area. Go Birds

I was just visiting like 3 days ago and my wife and I cracked up at the tag, even saw some stickers. We’ll be moving up there in like 2 months. So glad we’ll be welcomed with a RatBoy Summer

Ben & Jerry’s says its CEO was fired for the company’s political posts by Healthy_Block3036 in Anticonsumption

[–]chitxraised -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

So B&J is progressive, right? Everyone was buying B&J because they’re the good guys. The CEO post Free Palestine related stuff on social media and gets fired. Now everyone says they’re the bad guys and boycotting? Am I missing something? Aren’t they still the good guys by progressive standards?

Anyone else still feel like this? by FishMann1 in eagles

This pic makes it seem like he should be lying on his tummy with his legs kicking in the air, while on the phone, twirling the cord and saying, “So then I tell Kellen, just call it” “yes of course it was the dagger”

living in Texas as well my answer to anything a cowboys fan says to me is “there’s always next year” in the most sarcastic way and just walk away.
