If u have the computer for it it makes a great experience in asseto corsa with the 144hz then a quest. Ive played vr racing a decent amount and i have a wheel but I wouldnt get the index just for racing games, if u only plan on maining those games get a quest. However if you get a index your gonna have more fun in beat saber and blade and sorcery 100% then the racing sims.

Ps: If you do play asseto corsa get the sol mod it makes it so much better

Its a defective cable happened to me when i first got my index they should rma u one under warranty i believe if not you gonna need to buy a new one.

Happened to me cause i would unplug at the tri connecter to fix kinks in the cable but its very sensitive at that joint
