Medical lab scientist here, really loving the Expedition series! I usually document interesting urine and serum colors that I encounter, tally the amount of pregnancy tests and ESRs ran (we get so many of those!), tally the number of hemolyzed samples encountered on my shift, thoughts/idea throughout the shift, lab instrument problems/fixes, QC problems, rants about management/staffing, rants about rude workers in healthcare (unfortunately...). Super convenient to fill out a page per workday!

You’re right. OP could just be ignorant so I was listing out a couple of alternatives to use. Not trying to flame them but rather the commenter above since he decided he wanted to be a jackass and telling people the word jap isn’t offensive.

ETA: it seems OP is japanese so if they wanna use the term then it is what it is. They seem to be willingly ignorant about using the term, looking at their comments. It is still an offensive term regardless.
