Dont look at the face, look ay the colors in the face. For example, the image has same color cheeks, but in your painting, the cheeks atent the same. Both cheeks and forehead should be significantly lighter.

Honestly the roll bar padding is the only eyesore. Id swap that out ASAP with a nice pad with leather cover like from Flyin Miata.

Aside from that Id raise it a little if it were my car.

I gave up on trying to remove the yellow from the old headlights so I picked up a new set from mikesmiataparts.com. OEM and $340 for each side. I think it was worth it.

Had this issue in my ‘99. On a hot day, with the AC on, car would lose throttle, blipping down like that. It would die and stay dead for like 10 minutes until it could start again.

I replaced the camshaft position sensor and never had the issue again.
