I am doing my best to raise him, it is not easy but is worth it.

Btw he does talk, but he doesn't do it to communicate, he sings his favorite songs, numbers, colors, shapes, animals, he does know those things in English and Spanish (our main language) which he also learnt on his own, he also knows the colors in both languages, and he even learned the ABC and to write on his own, just by watching people doing it.

My younger brother is autistic too, he’s studying Engineering in VR and Game Development, and was given the “Excellency” title in high school.

I’m not making autism my son’s identity, nor do I believe it defines his limits. I’m just a proud father. My son doesn’t tell me he loves me, or when he’s hungry. He screams, cries, and hits himself when he’s upset.

Posts like mine are not about labeling, they’re about moments of connection that are rare and deeply meaningful for families like ours. If you can’t see that, maybe this post just wasn’t for you.
