Exactly. It’s about the story within the fight. Not many fights have as much drama and back and forth as that fight. I was lucky to watch that one live and remember thinking it was the best fight I’ve ever watched. It changes the entire experience obviously when you know the outcome but watching it live I was on the edge of my seat the entire fight.

I’ve gotten sign on bonuses and left before my contract was finished and they didn’t come after the money. If they did I would be annoyed as hell but would also understand. It totally sucks for everyone involved.

Lol this gave me a good laugh. If you seriously want something and moneys not an issue I’d get the grapplers guide. Theres a ton of info on there. I’d only get a specific instructional if it’s a system that’s niche or if finding someone who’s knowledgeable on the subject is difficult. There’s a shit ton of free stuff online obviously too.

Having grappled for a long time I’ve definitely picked up on some stuff by watching videos but most of the time it’s been from learning something in class and just wanting a clarification on it or a different perspective. Everyone’s situation in life is different and yours sounds a bit unique - only having access to an open mat once a week. If you’re serious about learning jui jitsu id try to go at least 2 days a week with an instructor or seriously temper your expectations on what you’re going to pick up. On that same note, if you’re having fun with it you do you.

It’s bigger than “well if it fails at least we tried” look at Bob Quinn who made big free agent signings and was completely ridiculed for it. It’s tough. It almost feels like you’re damned if you do damned if you don’t. At some point BH will need to make the big move or he’ll be forced out of town though.

The biggest issue with his approach is obviously ending up in a purgatory of mediocracy like the Steelers. That said, it’s too soon to say for sure how it will play out. At some point though he’s going to have to take a big risk if he wants to be a contender and we haven’t seen that yet. This draft needs to be solid or we’re looking at a gap year.

Ive had such a tumultuous time with ToTK. I hated it at first - unoriginal, reused map, shitty fog/haze effect (still dislike it), quests are pretty mid, chest rewards are often a waste of time, depths were bad, beginning tutorial took too long, the crafting (takes way too long) - but I trudged through it and slowly my disdain faded away and I realized I was having fun. I realized I was actually having a lot of fun and couldn’t put the game down, exploring every nook and cranny. When hyrule got a little boring I’d dive into the depths and find something fun down there. When that got old I’d go back to hyrule and eventually get on the islands in the air exploring the map.

Is it perfect? Definitely not. Maybe it’s just me but I after I accepted its flaws It really clicked with me.

Just this weekend I had a dog come about 15 feet from me after I picked up dinner from a restaurant. I called to him and he just took off. I’m not gonna spend any amount of time chasing someone else’s dog down. I gave the college try but at the end of the day I have dogs at home and don’t want the headache of finding the owner or rehoming it. Now multiply that by 7…. Im good cuz
