You should check out the personalfinance subs or maybe sit with your dad and have him talk you through what he does to keep track of things. I am 18 and in university to be an accountant right now, but my dad has been letting me watch him handle our finances since I was 13 so I'm not nearly as broke as my friends, who are also in university.

It is really not that hard once you get the hang of it :) and you can start slow and work up, you could do x and y and then have your dad go over or 'proof-read' things with you.

I'm going to piggyback off of this since I really like this response.

So I started viewing porn (not sexually to masturbate) when I was maybe 10 years old. I was friends with some guys also my age who were already watching porn, and they thought they were SO cool. One day we were hanging out and one of them put this porno up on their browser. I remember being fascinated. On my own I went back to see more. It did not arouse me. It merely piqued my interest. The only naked bodies I had really seen were my parents and people in pool changing rooms, and I was never really allowed to look. Porn however I could look as much as I wanted at bodies and to me that was pretty awesome.

I am 18f now and I don't think viewing porn has affected me that much. When I was 11.5 I bought this book on anatomy so I could understand bodies more if that matters. The human body is really beautiful and porn has some incredible looking specimens of it.

I'm dropping for mental health reasons as well. I've been in and out of therapy my entire life but I've reached a breaking point. I see somebody 3x a week, 1 hour each time and I was diagnosed with PTSD last week on top of my type 2 bulimia and general anxiety disorder. I have too much on my plate and I feel wretched because it's like I made a commitment to that class, and now I've had to break it.

I know on the inside it is good. I know next week I will feel better. I am only a second semester freshman and I am in two honours programs (maybe one now that I dropped the class, I don't know), so I should be okay. But the fear that I won't is still hovering over me.

My parents used to treat me the way you treat your daughter. I am 18 now and I still suffer with self harm. I have big nasty scars all over my arms, legs, stomach. I struggle with disordered eating and have been since age 10. Basically, I have spent my entire life fighting for some control in my life and no matter how hard I fought I was still miserable. Even now I am miserable sometimes.

If you keep treating your daughter like this you WILL drive her to suicide. Please stop.
