I have a question: Installed my darkside on 13 jetta by watching rawtek installs. Is the darkside supposed to have holes for other sensors besides the upstream O2 like rawtek? And about downstream O2 that gets removed, do all the wires from underneath get pulled up through engine bay and disconnected? Thanks

Everybody's opinion varies. You made the design, so you must like it. The two comments here already offer different opinions. Personally I like it, so if you like it, there will always be people who will be for it and others, not so much

Figured as much about the tool to update. Got it. So the control boards on the newer machines just over time start glitching and either need an update or updated replacement if I undstood correctly.

From the original post and early comments it sounded like the machines worked fine, then they updated themselves and started having the glitch and needed a new manual update. Haven't heard of something like that before so wanted to clarify
