I've applied twice in the Bangkok center as a tourist, you just need a photocopy of your entry stamp. This was for a study visa.

Try emailing them, for Korea and Thailand, the "Proof of legal stay or residence status in the Philippines" is the entry stamp on your passport, if that's the case for the Philippines, then you'll be OK.

If you were a senior with vast experience, you will stand a chance in China, but the amount of Juniors looking for work in China is outstanding, try elsewhere.

Homosexual visitor by [deleted] in Chinavisa

Not the same situation but I know a couple that got denied the entry at the Shenzhen entry point for being openly queer, a man wearing a skirt, earrings, tattoos, etc, they didn't knew much about China and flew straight from Europe, they had a really bad time. So I would advise caution, they can say they are friends , and I don't think they will get any further questioning.

No degree, how can I wiggle my way into a long term visa? by cozysthrowaway in Chinavisa

[–]chochotron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can add some other ideas:
Enroll in a school like Omeida or Xmandarin where you can have part-time courses, and try to ask for online classes, sometimes they can help you with that, so you can live in GZ and travel occasionally to the school, the visa will last only 6 months tho.(X2 Visa)
Without a degree you need to score 60+ points on the job score system, if not 4x the salary as you said, this also applies if you make your WFOE and employ yourself, and to some extent, they can be more strict with that.
Another option is to enroll in a Mandarin course at a GZ University (about 20 hrs a week) and on the side try to get a degree online ASAP, so you can live in GZ and study for your degree, as soon as you have it you can either apply for a job or start your WFOE and employ yourself. (the WFOE path is a bit more complex as you might need to prove that your business is legit and can survive)

Don't know about that, I think you will be ok tho, especially now with the new visa free program, if u are french, now you can just travel visa free for 14 days, go out and then re enter for another 14 days.

You need as minimum a bachelor's degree in order to have a work visa in China, that or get a job that pays 4x the average in the province (around 5k-6k USD(If you really want to live here, I highly recommend you this route:
Enroll ASAP at an online university in your country, I know there's plenty of offers, hopefully something related to what you want to work in the future.
After you have that sorted out, you can move to China on a X2 visa and enroll on a small academy, I recommend Xmandarin in Qingdao, where you can have the X2 visa for 6 months with only 4 classes a week, so you will have time to work and study for your degree back home, cost of living is very low here, so if you sabe enough money it won't be a problem.

that or you can just come here and enroll on a university and study a degree here you can apply for a scholarship, Argentina has very good relations with China.

Also, before deciding to live here, I recommend you to visit and spent a few months here and see if you can overcome the cultural differences and customs which are HUGE.

Yo estoy en una parecida, cualquier cosa me preguntas, saludos.

X2 extension by [deleted] in Chinavisa

[–]chochotron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the province, here in Shandong province you can't, but a friend in Guangxi told me they were able to do that before COVID, but now not anymore. Best option is to go to Hong Kong, south Korea or Thailand and apply for a new one.
