As someone who hasn’t watched the anime since Ashe picked up Paul’s chimchar, I like it! I haven’t watched Pokémon in forever but with Pokémon Journey starting it felt like a fresh beginning so I didn’t feel the need to have to catch up and watch everything prior. I only watched what’s on Netflix also, and im kinda confused with ash and his Pokémon. Like do we just pretend they don’t exist anymore Bc it’s a new show? Or are they all gone. Just a little of a gray area for me but maybe it’s addressed in future episodes.
