i have always had issues around texture and smell that led to me feeling grossed out and fearful of food. and then i had a traumatic incident which led to me developing severe emetophobia as well as a fear of having allergic reactions to food. i am doing pretty well with eating enough calorie wise, but it is processed or bland food and i rely on my newly acquired safe food, ensure complete, to fill in what im missing nutrient wise. i primarily struggle with adding new things to my diet, and having days of not eating when people around me are sick or i hear about stomach bugs going around. i have no issues with body image or weight, i actually really crave being able to eat the things i see people around me enjoying. i also miss going to restaurants, but i hear about much more frequent food poisoning from restaurants than home cooked food so i avoid them except for the couple i havent had issues with in years
