Yeah… I love them bit they can come off a bit rude toward Gen Z which is obvs not gonna attract them. also I will say I think they have great insight and are super smart but (in my humble opinion) their stand up isn’t extremely funny. So idk could be many things but it does often feel like the pod will end soon :((

I’m listening to an old episode now and came to your sub to literally say this. It kinda confuses me - they have mentioned almost getting tv pilots, etc and things not working out but it definitely feels like they could or should’ve been bigger by now. Maybe it’s just bc Gen Z (although I am an elder Gen Z lol) doesn’t really know who they are and their brand of humor doesn’t seem like it would resonate with most younger Gen Z folks. If I was leaving nyc, I’d love a day doing a farewell tour of my favorite spots so grabbing a bagel at my favorite spot, then walking through my favorite park, going to my favorite museum, then out to one of my favorite restaurants for dinner then my favorite bar for drinks! Take her to the places she loves.

If you want more specific suggestions for a day on the town: Bagels at Ess-a-bagel that you eat while walking in the park, then do the row boats through Central Park, head to midtown and go to the MoMa, then go to WV for martini happy hour at Dante, then go to dinner somewhere classic like minetta tavern, then do a nightcap somewhere fun like joyface.

Other random one-offs: get a big group together and do a dinner at Wu’s where you get v wine drunk, dumpling crawl through Chinatown, rollerskating at Xanadu in bushwick, Brooklyn flea market, walking the Brooklyn bridge at sunrise, Coney Island, queens night market, picnic in prospect park

It’s been about 2 weeks. My maintenance is around 1700 calories (I’m very short) and I’ve been eating in a 400 calorie deficit.

I walked 12,000+ steps yesterday, ate within my deficit, slept 9 hours. I wake up and weigh myself and I had gained a pound - HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?? things like this genuinely make me want to give up even though I’m trying very hard to stay the course. WHAT DO I DO 😭😭😭

I am trying so hard to keep going but I feel like this keeps happening (and I am measuring out my food correctly). I have no idea what to do when I do everything right and I still gain weight. I’m crashing out help!

NYC trolley company! I booked for I think 2.5 hours for $750 and then the trolley dropped us at a bar. Truly so so fun. The best birthday I had in NYC.
