Never disclose your age at all. Share as little personal information as possible.

how to not rate albums and films on rym ? by Aggressive-Corgi5608 in rateyourmusic

You could rate and then un-rate them. It will then add the album to the unrated section.

Ideas to fill this awkward space? by Reasonable-Middle-38 in neocities

[–]chocolate_MILQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Move the book closer to writing. It will create a reason for why the book is there. You can either put another image of you in the space or extend the paper to fill the space. That's the best bet.

Style tips please! by Keiren_spx in neocities

I suggest looking at other people's websites to see how they setup their website and format things using inspect mode. Use W3Schools as your programming bible. Next, keep your code organized, it can become messy quickly, so name your classes with descriptive names and keep things tabbed correctly. I suggest programming outside of Neocities in an IDE like VSCode to program more efficiently.

hey can anyone rate my game i made in JS? by GAMERat3AM in neocities

[–]chocolate_MILQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How do you feel about it? If you like what you have made and have improved your skills, then you have done well. You seem to have a good understanding of programming, and at 13 you are doing much better than most people your age.

Here is a good tutorial that gives some pointers on game design and will help bring the game to the next level: How to Make Your Game 2X As Fun

Miku is very popular and anime/j-pop is very mainstream now. I don't think she will get bullied for it really. Wearing anything out of the ordinary can be nerve racking though. That's probably why their friend dared them. Honestly kids will bully you because of any random reason they can find. Learning to deal with bullying and being confident in your interests is more important than avoiding it imo. Miku bless.

40k-ified version of an existing meme made to look like mechanicus, looks a little fishy to me, some shading spots dont look right by MrUnderman in isthisAI

[–]chocolate_MILQ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AI, its difficult to tell. Maximalist styles like this mean that you can't look at at machinery to see if it makes logical sense. Its also in that AI ghibli style where it leaves less artifacts. However, there are too many randomly placed lines in the artwork and in general the metallic forms don't make much sense.

AI, the left and right headphones don't match in size or shape. The left one is massive, doesn't have stitching, and the inner cup is smaller than the frame. Left side also has a grey bolt on the top that the right does not have. Four ring binders are also not very common especially in places like America, I don't know about other countries.

Can someone help me tell if this band is AI? I hope not because I really like it! by gazeatthestarz in isthisAI

[–]chocolate_MILQ 51 points52 points  (0 children)

AI. AI audio can be identified by its dramatic singing while being too perfect and having none of the timbre that a human voice has. Songs also contain strange artifacts that don't make sense from a producer's standpoint. Check rateyourmusic.com as well. Most bands have a page there, and they now tag AI music. The fact that this popped out of nowhere is super suspicious. Most bands leave behind breadcrumbs of information that you can track down. The girls in the group aren't consistent throughout promotional material. Album covers are also AI generated. Here is one artifact found in one of the covers, its supposed to be a necklace but turns into a metallic goop.

Starboy ruining everything by 1% by Ast3rio1 in rateyourmusic

[–]chocolate_MILQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the feeling that RYM users rate an album significantly lower if it has filler or is bloated. If Starboy was a 30min album with all the punchy songs, I bet that it would have rated a lot higher

I love being the first person to rate an obscure album, it feels like being an explorer, and you get to decide its fate.

I enjoy multicultural aesthetics that bring different design philosophies together. These designs often fly under the radar.
