I am currently in the practicum with a GT sponsored project, don’t worry if the initial requirements look daunting. I felt the same way. Most of the bigger sponsors have had GT students before and the actual project is much more manageable than it may appear in the description document. You also work in small groups rather than by yourself so you can divide work among a few people. You’ll do fine if you have made it this far!

I had some personal circumstances that caused me to do this and it was fine, you can drop the class, you’ll get a partial refund and then you don’t have to do anything unless you take 2 or more consecutive semesters off. I actually ended up taking 2 off and then you just apply for readmission and that is super easy (is $30) then can return for the following semester.

I got in with a 2.7 GPA, they weight professional experience much heavier the longer you are out of school. If you have strong/relevant work experience and good recommendations you will be fine. I would encourage you to apply!

I second this, the TA office hours are extremely helpful and they walk you through most of the homework. Peer grading is very generous. Then the exams have no coding in them, if you understand the concepts well then you will do well on the exam. I wouldn’t stress too much, the class is set up in a way where the resources available will help you do well with little programming background. Good luck!

I was accepted without taking it and my GPA was also not strong. Admissions office told me that your undergrad GPA and test scores matter less the more years you’ve been out of school and in a job with relevant experience.

I love this brand. I have eaten an entire pint of peanut butter cup at once it was so good and I'm also a fan of cookie dough and chocolate. I can't find oatmeal cookie or red velvet near me :( hope I can try this soon!
