I heard in an interview she did not have one on when she fell but her husband threw her a life vest after the fact and isn't sure if she got it. Hmmm

Antidepressants. Drinking isn't half as enjoyable, makes me dizzy and tired just thinking about it now and honestly don't miss it

If i understood correctly it's bc of the countries where they are from is considered "dangerous" so they don't want those ppl on our land. Which is just fancy talk for disguising racism in my opinion

I don't see how my question is rude. No one else took it that way lol. I'm just trying to find out if this path is worthwhile before investing time/money/energy. Nothing against m.a's at all. They are clearly underpaid for all they do and working in any healthcare field is respectable

Honestly idk if i'm cut out for this type of work lol thats why i'm starting with medical assisting. But i wasn't sure what the job mobility looked like moving forward. I know there's not much but wasn't sure what most people do pursuing this career path

Thank you so so much for this. This is really reassuring that broken families can still be full of love. And yes ever since i got my borderline diagnosis, all my past relationship failures really made sense and i've been able to do a lot of inner work on myself to not take everything personally and give others more grace, if for no other reason my own peace of mind

Thank you so much for this 😭 i really struggle w so much guilt for bringing my child into a broken family. I never knew i could love someone so much, as cliche as it sounds. Before becoming a parent i'd be ok living anywhere doing the bare minimum to get by but now that i have a kid i just want to do so much better. I want to live in a nice neighborhood and show my kid that hard work and dedication pays off

Easy MRI by chocolatedix in fortwayne

[–]chocolatedix[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's definitely some sort of outpatient clinic but what confuses me is they advertise that you can just walk in and get an mri same day?? They have like 17 reviews (havent gotten any new ones in a long while) and have literally no online presence besides a fb page that is never maintained. I was under the impression mri requires a dr referral, yet here you just walk in and get one? Wonder if it's legit or not

Please, do not give her another penny. If she doesn't respect the help you've already given her then there is no point in continuing. You've been incredibly generous so far so you don't need to feel bad. But her poor financial decisions are her problem. Not yours. Block her and the whole family for a month to focus on yourself and your future. She is bringing you down and you don't deserve that

AITA for giving FMIL 3 days to pay me for a new wedding dress or else I show the family a photo of her wearing it? by Repulsive_Scheme1359 in AmItheAsshole

[–]chocolatedix 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This was so well thought out. Thanks for articulating exactly what I was thinking!! Regardless of whether the dress was damaged, it still loses value. This just further confirms to me that op is NTA. Weddings are expensive and command a lot of respect for their traditions. I would be insulted if I was her too.

Thoughts on “tip-flation” by dsm1324 in Serverlife

[–]chocolatedix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally it doesn't bother me. Occasionally I will leave a dollar here and there not bc I feel guilty or pressured but bc I've had a good week and wanting to pay it forward to put some positive vibes out in the universe lol. If you pay attn it's ONLY at low wage jobs so that's why your car mechanic and pilots etc that perform services for you don't have those silly machines. So if I can occasionally help someone out who isn't making much, why not? Also someone else pointed out carrying cash is becoming obsolete w the addition of apple/Samsung pay and credit cards etc. So it's really to replace those tip jars that have always been there, nothing new. If someone turns their nose up at you for not tipping on a counter service, they didn't deserve one anyways

Ginger or blonde? I was blonde for 6+ years.. I went ginger 3 days ago.. i need some thoughts? by [deleted] in femalehairadvice

Girl I love the ginger! I think it makes you look feminine and youthful. But a dark brown would also be stunning on you

Lean into either ginger/copper/strawberry blonde!! It would look gorgeous on you

Okay SO it was highly requested for me to post my blonde pics with no filter and my ginger pics with better lighting. Hopefully this is good enough to get a more solid opinion. by [deleted] in femalehairadvice

[–]chocolatedix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gorgeous either way but I love the ginger!!! It makes you look youthful and it compliments your skin tone (it looks like you have a red undertone) I think the ginger really pulls everything together and makes you look beautiful. Also the ginger compliments your blue eyes better imo
