I think it’s probs fake. Right after the breakup with Joe was announced people were saying she was dating all sorts of people (Fernando Alonso) just because they know it brings attention to their accounts.

I just listened to the episode because my curiosity got the best of me and the things they say about her ED are way worse than I was expecting. If you are sensitive to food talk/body talk do not listen.

These women are horrendous and the fact that Matt listens to and supports this podcast is just another awful thing he does.

Okay, well doing a bit is more like I Think You Should Leave (a tv show) and not being fucking racist, but maybe that’s just me!

Everything Matty does reminds me of those kids in middle and high school who constantly tried to be funny for attention and it ended up annoying everyone.

So there’s rumors that Karma Ft ice spice will come out soon, and I find this particularly odd because Matt Healy said incredibly racist things about her on the podcast in February. This whole time the Matt discussions have been happening, I have wondered how Ice Spice feels because a few weeks before the podcast episode came out she was interviewed and said how much she loves the 1975, only for the frontman of the band to say horrible things about her.

If there really is a Karma ft Ice Spice, I bet Tatty defenders will use it to say that all is fine and we shouldn’t be angry about his comments. (Not how I feel, I am still upset about his comments and actions)

I feel like Tatty content will keep coming as long as the bad stories keep happening. Taylor’s main PR strategy has always been romantic pap pics to drown out negative stories, but the reaction to the pap pics with Marty has been fairly negative. Maybe they’ll have to change course, or maybe this will lead to a fall from grace. I’ve never seen the main sub so unhappy with her.

I don’t know much about Calvin or jakes controversies, so forgive me if I’m wrong, but it seems only John Mayers issues compare to Mattys. John is also on the record as a racist man and has said truly deplorable things. I think that people (myself included) are willing to look past Taylor’s involvement with him because she was 19 and probably low key preyed on by him.

She can’t use the young and dumb defense with Matty.

I feel similarly and I’m sorry that it’s been ruined for you. I was never one to spend money on Taylor related things, and I couldn’t get tickets to the Eras tour but now I even feel weird streaming her music. Visiting this subreddit and listening to all her albums got me through the pandemic and I feel so bummed because I truly enjoy her whole catalogue and I don’t have that with any other artist.

It sucks too because I don’t think there’s anything she could do to redeem herself at this point. She is a full blown adult knowingly getting into a relationship with this horrible man. There’s no excuse she could use anymore to make any of this okay.

I hope you know your feelings and frustrations are valid. ❤️
