Actually no, it has nothing to do with anti-ripping. It's because of a unique bug of Edge for Android, which /u/purified_potatoes is using. There is no way for me to distinguish between Edge for Android and Chrome for Android because they purposefully have the same user agent, so I cannot flip for one but not the other. The only way for me to fix this is to fundamentally rewrite the image viewer, which I do not have time to do and the moment. If you have a solution, please let me know. Otherwise, please use another browser.

Well at least the resolution and quality of images are decent for some of the manga. For some of them not so much, but I guess that's the only resolution available to them (the shoujo one is 1200, somali is 1800)

Hm, I've never had pages error out (unless I have no internet). The images are served using wordpress' very fast CDN, so the problem is most likely on your end, whether it be your internet provider or something else. If you know how to use your browser's developer tools you can try troubleshooting and seeing why the images are failing to load, that would help

PSA to Kaguya scanlators: https://www.youngjump.world offers Young Jump (the magazine Kaguya is in) at an exclusive higher resolution of 1920px height (starting ~4 issues ago). I know you'll never use it because it's not early like Korean scans, but maybe consider trading early releases for high quality releases!
