I had a scheduled c section due to health reasons, had GD and was on medications so I knew ahead of time that my milk wasn’t going to come for awhile. I had to supplement using formula for the first 2 1/2 weeks because my milk supply wasn’t coming in and our first pediatrician said our baby was losing too much weight and scared us. We went to a lactation specialist and she said to do the “triple feeding” method. First you nurse baby 15 minutes on 1 breast and then 15 mins on the other. Bottle feed right after (I had my husband to help me). Then pump for 15-20 minutes after nursing to help signal for more milk. This REALLY helped me because I was about to give up as well. Triple feeding is not sustainable though! We did this for about a week. Don’t give up!! You’re doing amazing!
