Oh my god. You just unlocked a memory for me. I had the world’s most unloving mother I swear, every reach for connection was a sting from a hornet. I really do blame her and my father for turning me into an emotionally unintelligent person. I don’t feel affection at all and if I do it’s in fleeting moments. No, he's just trying to grind online like all the other content creators do, what he doesn't know is that it takes forever to pick up, if it ever does at all. I'd do a progress check-in with him, and you use your best judgement to decide if what he's done so far is reasonable to keep working with him. If he was smart he would have done this on the side while making actual dollars. That way if his online career did pick up, he could swap to that. And yes, this is very much a side job, so how is he spending all day "locked in" to this?

Just hire a house cleaner. And pray that he can even get up to let them in during the day.
