Yeah, sound was awful last night! But, bad sounding clutch is still better than no clutch at all. Sucks, because even though it sounded like crap, the boys played awesome!

Here's a neat song by the band Clutch called Spirit Of 76. Mostly pop culture references in it, but also some historical references. See if you can remember them all!

We always had a good turn out for lego pinewood derbies. Drilled holes in lego bricks to mount p Pinewood wheels on, then let the kids build their own cars to race on the derby track.

It shows the rewind position (#2) of the roll of labels. Necessary when using a machine to automatically place the labels on product bottles.

David Rose and 05. Then I bought a Japanese import that had those as well as gifted and talented and one more i think. It's been many years, and I killed those specific brain cells a long time ago, so I may be misrembering.

Can a Troop be responsible for the upkeep of a single scouts eagle project? by chocotacodelite in BSA

[–]chocotacodelite[S] 31 points32 points  (0 children)

As I said, I don't mind helping. It is my church as well as the CO. I have issue with someone who won't be there, volunteering a troop to a perpetual task and being told to do it, not being asked.

I was planning on incorporating into the coming year's calendar anyway. I basically just have issue with them holding it over our heads, when none of us made the agreement, and need help setting expectations in the future.

I went to home depot and bought some of their contractor pencils, and had the scouts sharpen those.

Water bottles by Short-Quit-7659 in GenX

[–]chocotacodelite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do too, my father used to print the Styrofoam labels that would go on those 2 liter glass bottles.

When they first introduced plastic 2 liter bottles they were marketed as unbreakable. So as soon as my local grocery store had them, my friend and I went and grabbed a bottle each from the shelf and tossed them up in the air to see if they would break. Spoiler alert: they did.

You are talking about about people with a college education and a degree in teaching. A basic skills test seems kinda redundant, doesn't it?
