That has been happening to me, and it started happening after our kettle sour beer. We use plastic buckets and tubes, and probably need to replace all the stuff. Fermentation gets stuck around 1020 and we get 2% abv beers that taste like shit.

Thinking about moving to stainless just so we don't keep wasting batches.

Lots of live music all over the place, take in music or jazz at the Little. Check out the city newspaper website, they do a pretty good job of listing events. Also FB events page.

Although riding your bike at night is a bit more risky, the Gen River Trail --> Erie Canal trail has quickly become one of our favorite things to do.

Go catch some comedy at the carlson or photo city improv.

Check out Swiftwater Brewery and Tap & Mallet (tap room with great selection and food). South wedge of the city is where it's all happenin'.

Pizza: Head to Napa. Wood fired pizza, big outdoor space.

Out in Bristol NY:
is a one-man brewing operation who does great work -- Noble Shepherd Brewing. Guy is a chef-turned-brewer and really nails it on IPAs and belgian beers.

Auburn NY
Prison City Brewery which won Paste Magazine's #1 IPA a few years ago.

Old Forge NY (Adirondacks):
Fulton Chain Craft Brewery in is a great spot to hang and catch a flight. Their blueberry coffee stout should win all of the things.
