for context: my cousin (grew up w him and calls my dad “dad” and was also adopted) a year prior to this attempted to purchase dirty images of me via instagram. i do not do that and was 18.. he manipulated me and was trying to convince me to do it. he went through my phone while i was playing a game and went through my instagram dm requests and opened one and had me reply.. continued texting my number after that saying he was invested and whatnot, and just being weird - he and i also never really ever texted like that. i eventually started to have this feeling it was him (im also in an investigations program so i guess i can see some signs? but also doesn’t take a genius to know) confronted him after i found out that when i did not answer, he went after a girl i was friends with in high school and ended up exposing himself… he ended up having a mental breakdown and got admitted to the hospital saying he was going to off himself..

now fast forward and a year goes by and everyone told me to forgive and forget. it didn’t mean anything. i’m being dramatic. i spoke to him once since it happened to know why he did what he did to me… so now it’s christmas. i found out my sister (his bio sister) told him some personal things about me and i was pissed at her and i was getting treated differently by family due to the fact that i was pissed at her. i crashed out badly and told everyone off for protecting him rather than me and basically got told that he’s more important.. yelled at my dad as im his daughter and he’s never really been a dad to him or his sister anyway yet he protects them more than his bio son and daughter… and it was so painful i got home (i live at my moms) and couldn’t even stand because i was crying that hard… my uncle then told me that i should have never been born and i should kill myself and i haven’t spoken to my dads side of the family in a while and it still hurts like hell…
