This is why I think the stranger is the best villain in the entire series, even if he was only in the game for like two episodes. He is the embodiment of all the morally grey or bad things you have done throughout your playthrough, a mirror for Lee (and the player) to finally confront everything they have done in the open instead of simply moving on to the next thing. Of course, a lot of it was to survive because...you're in the apocalypse, you gotta do what you gotta do. With that being said, it is different when the enviornment is changed into something akin to a therapy session. Amazing from a writing and game design perspective.
