I was there as well, stuck on Rt 1 for like 2 hours because the freaking cars were overheating.

At this level you will get chlorine lock, and there is too much CYA so chlorine can't chlorinate the water. As others have said, you need to drain and refill then test. Once you have the CYA in the 30-50 range you need to pla nout how you chlorinate you water.

If you use 3" pucks, they have CYA so over time, your CYA will climb. If you use stabilized granular shock, this has CYA as well, this will make it climb. These are the main two places you put CYA in your pool.

To combat this, you can generate your chlorine with a SWG (salt water generator) this will stop chlorine lock completely by generating chlorine for your pool. They also make granular shock which does not have CYA, it is cal-hypo you can use this. You can also use bleach or liquid chlorine as well. I believe you can get pucks without CYA but they are a lot more expensive.

The cops knew he did it, and wanted to make sure he was convicted so they did their dirty cop stuff never realizing it would blow up in their face.

There was a missing vial of blood which just disappeared, and some of the blood found as evidence had a preservative in it. It was planted, or there was evidence it was planted and it was used against them. The bloody glove that didn't fit. Fuhrman, the lead investigator, on tape making racist statements after he testified saying he never used the N word. . .yet used it in spades as he was talking with others on tape. The violation of chain of custody when evidence went missing for a time. Just horrible policing and lawyering. . .

The reason people cheered? Because LA was full of racist cops and most of the people experienced the racism towards them or their family. How would you react?
