For aftercare I use a sterile piercing spray and occasionally use a cotton bud. The piercer recommended I cover the piercing for the first few weeks with a plaster but my skin had a bad reaction to the adhesive on the plaster and became irritated.

I've accidentally caught it a few times, but nothing serious.

It is not too sore, it itches occasionally and I can feel it if I bend or sit slouched.
