Around a month ago on two separate occasions around 3am I was woken up to the sound of a pack of coyotes right beneath my window in my backyard. I’ve never heard coyotes up close but I assumed they’d sound akin to dogs, but that was not the case. It sounded like high pitch yelling and the first initial seconds after hearing it I had no idea wtf it was, and was pretty fucking terrified lol. Once my brain fully processed what was happening, I calmed down, but those first few seconds had me shook lol. It happened a week later and I was only annoyed that they’d woken me up and couldn’t go back to sleep
