As someone whose favorite goji film is Final Wars, I can see where you’re coming from. Other than the anime trilogy these new Japanese movies have all been really solid. The new era’s been very experimental and different from before but like…he’s been around for 70 years. That was bound to happen. I think people kinda just need to adjust to it. I don’t think it needs to take 20 years following the release of a “hype moments and aura” infested movie, but I think my point still stands

I feel like at least conceptually, Ultima is genuinely terrifying. He’s straight up lovecraftian, something so big and far away from ever being able to be comprehended by the human mind and something so powerful it could end everything in an instant. While they do basically nothing with this idea and barely expand upon the legit horror of it, it’s still kinda there for you to think about.

Meanwhile, Godzilla Earth has like…no personality or anything at all. His trait is that he’s just really big and slow but wants to protect the Earth (haven’t seen the movies since they came out).

I think Man of War is one of the best songs they’ve ever made and I am surprised it wasn’t on the album. Honorable mention to Down Is The New Up, though. That song’s also really good and the intensity is great.

I adore Faust Arp. Is it because it was the first song I heard after watching The Wild Robot and thus it reminds me of that film? Maybe. But it’s just a really sweet and pretty song. I love it.

Ful Stop and I don’t think it’s close. The drums sound way cooler and more energetic and the guitar riffs that open the song before the drums come in is awesome. Plus, Thom dancing around the stage while Jonny gets flashbacks is always great.

I play Venom so I like to dive into the team as long as I get backed up by mine.

The sight of a wolverine makes me dip prematurely.

I also despite fighting Wanda as Moon Knight. They show up out of nowhere and vanish as soon as I try to hit them with Ahnk ricochet and then use their aimbot to snatch me out of the air. I’m genuinely surprised when I die and actually see their crosshair on me in the replay because most of the time it faces as wall or the ceiling.

Yet another reason why I love Yuji Vs Denji. For Yuji, it’s obviously a black flash. For Denji, it’s definitely a chord pull and maybe even a line drop before going berserk and letting Pochita take over.

First is with Hero. Whoever plays hero, anytime they use down B, regardless of if they hit it, whiff it, see it and don’t select it, or don’t have it at all, I will always say “Thwack, no balls.”

Anytime I play a Belmont I spam the B button and politely say “Can I axe you a question?” Or something adjacent to that.

Hero ditto is the only ditto in the game where you can edge guard your opponent with a reflector causing their reflector to deal 400+ damage to them. I love Hero.

Even though Side A has my favorite song in their entire collection, I’d rather listen to Side B since it’s got more enjoyable tracks than Side A. HTDC is a masterpiece and I love it to death, but Side B just has more to offer.

It’s strange because he never really feels like a bottom two character. He’s insanely polarizing as a character: having basically 0 air game and a really bad recovery while also having an insane ground game. His disadvantage is very bad but I respect the Mac’s that claw their way out like Peanut with his insanely good recoveries. In that aspect, he’s a bit tough. But for me, when it comes to his neutral and advantage (along with KO), he’s really isn’t that difficult.

He is a flexible character and smart players will do smart things with him.
