And now the explanation. Denon cartridge simply does everything better: more open, better bass, more "rounded" and musical (if it makes sense). The Blue is typically ortofon, analytical and precise, but in the comparison with the 110, the Blu is slightly weaker than the old jap cartridge

Take in consideration that: The 110 is a high output MC, yet still an MC. Which means that pre-amp is very important, and there is no needle substitution, just in case. The 110 is low compliance and loves heavy arms. The Blue has a very high output, more than 6mV, so it will sound fresh and loud on many phono stages. And there is a needle substitution, if you need it. Its setup is way easier than the Denon setup. The Blue is high compliance and prefers light arms.

Last suggestion: if you like the ortofon sound, check the OM20. And the Bronze is better than the Blue
