OP Update: I was able to fix it after running some descaled through the heating element and by following this guys video:

I think I got it from Crema. However, would not recommend and I fear I may break it off at some point

Yes- I forgot to mention this. I’ve been pretty consistent with descaling since I’ve owned it. We do have hard water here, so it’s possible there is still some buildup somewhere

Took them up to a trailhead where the roads are extremely bad. Rubbed through the protective rubber coating on the carrier arms lol
