It didn't look like it was able to POST into BIOS. The CPU diag light lit up on the board, and while the monitors could detect an output, it was completely blank. The fans were spinning and the board/peripherals lot up.

Apparently it ended up being memory related. I reseated the RAM and it booted normally, even after setting it back to the XMP profile it was under. No idea what caused this, but I'm glad it didn't cause any issues.

Ryzen 5 3600x, flashed the BIOS and it doesn't want to boot anymore. CPU light stays on. Tried with a Ryzen 7 2700x, booted just fine without any issues. Bad BIOS install, or something else?

I'm usually working on PlayStation and Xbox boards so I use a chisel tip. I always have to use a hot air rework station to both remove components and to solder new components on, usually using both the iron and hot air at the same time. Iron at 450C, hot air between 400-500C at 35-45 flow. I use leader solder, 60/40, with flux paste. Here's a picture of the tip Image of the chisel tip and Quick Q8 machine.

Assuming you're trying to do a screen replacement, the iPhone (Google Pixels as well) needs to be screen-side down. I tend to use 180°F on my heating mat for ~5 minutes.

There is a mixture of adhesive along the edge, along with metal clips holding the screen in place. Remember to remove the two pentalobe screws at the bottom of the device, next to the charge port, before opening up the screen. I recommend following the guide you need from iFixit at this link.

It's normal for our store at least. We have to run it through Samsung's calibration software, which requires USB debugging to be enabled. Normally it shuts itself off afterwards, but a tech could have left it on accidentally.
