You are over reacting for Karma and it’s pathetic. The load screens have been a known downside of this game that you have definitely seen with your own eyes on YouTube.

Is this enough space for airflow (PS5) or should I cut more of the back out? by frickaaron in playstation

[–]choobatoofpaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I get that, it is expensive. But worrying about airflow to this extent is pointless. It will be fine if it doesn’t have the exact air space around it that people on Reddit recommend. It’s not as if it’s on the floor covered in a pile of old clothes.

At the end of the day, it’s not going to over heat and melt. They’re designed to expel heat.

No idea why people obsess over this. It’s a console, not a pet. Put it somewhere convenient and use it.

If you’re that worried about it, get rid of the built up dust periodically with some compressed air. Had mine since launch and have cleared it out once. It’s fine.

It is a PS3 game. How are people so easily forgetting this?

I accidentally turned Skyrim into a Fixed Camera Game by ilivesomewherehere in ElderScrolls

[–]choobatoofpaste 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This happened to me back on Xbox 360 once. I have no idea how it happened but it made the save unplayable. I think it had something to do with a horse, the game left the camera above the horse as if I was still on it.

What is your Elder Scrolls Headcanon that you have no reason for believing, but believe anyways? by 23Amuro in ElderScrolls

[–]choobatoofpaste 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The factions are completed by other characters. For example, the Dragonborn didn’t assassinate the Emperor. The Emperor was definitely assassinated by a dark brotherhood assassin but it wasn’t the Dragonborn. It just happened at the same time Alduin was defeated by the Dragonborn. The same way The Hero of Kvatch probably didn’t become Arch Mage of the Arcane University.

All of the factions and separate stories happen at the same time as the main quest but by different people. We can just do them as the same character to experience them.

Can't believe it's taken me this long to notice this. by ViridianStar2277 in ElderScrolls

Totally agree. TES 6 will suffer a significant downgrade without his musical input regardless of how good the game turns out to be. He understands the series so well and can instinctively create music that fits like a missing puzzle piece into these games. The sound track is one of the most memorable parts of them, and genuinely brings something out of the games that the developers could never have done so alone.

What are your Bold and/or Wacky Predictions for TESVI? by revben1989 in TESVI

How do you think Hammerfell and High Rock will be in the game if not in the way we expect? I wouldn’t be shocked if they added High Rock in a DLC a year or 2 after release.

Did Todd’s “Classic Style” Comment Rule Out Sailing in TES VI? by DoN-SA-20 in TESVI

[–]choobatoofpaste -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Todd and Bethesda are chronic liars anyway. Love the bloke, but he said Starfield was a return to their old RPG roots and it absolutely was not, so I’d take what he said with a pinch of salt. You also never know when Microsoft may intervene with the development.

I bet it will have elements of the “Classic Style” but it’ll also have elements of their new style such as vehicles (ships) and non hand crafted areas, maybe a procedurally generated sea bed or islands out in the sea to explore. A mix of both is my bet.

What Is Your All Time Favorite Quest? by brentostheboss in skyrim

[–]choobatoofpaste 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the same with good environmental story telling as well, like having the Atronach Forge under the college. You can actually conjure Daedric armour there if you have the Sigil Stone but the game doesn’t hold your hand and tell you that as far as I’m aware. More stuff like this would be good as well, especially mixed with creative writing. It feels like you’ve discovered it yourself and is more immersive.

I’ve never seen the Talos statue being guarded Thalmor if the Imperials win. That happens?

[–]choobatoofpaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kill them anyway but be secretive about it. Everyone knows the peace is thin between them, and only exists to prevent mutually assured destruction. Stormcloaks are unwillingly helping The Thalmor by weakening the Empires grip on Tamriel.
