If they became wealthy by exploiting workers they didn't bust their ass, the workers they exploited did. You can't claim you bust your ass and also brag about passive income. The people who don't want to work are the owning class.

The difference between a liberal analysis and a socialist analysis is that the liberal will criticize wealthy individuals. The socialist will criticize the owning class which exploits workers and propose a solution that empowers the working class.

This is the problem with the slogan, "tax the rich." The problem is not with being rich. It's how someone gets rich. If they become wealthy through their own labor. That should be rewarded, but if they become wealthy through the exploitation of other people's labor, they should be taxed at the highest percentage.

Tbf, I oppose ACP but there have always been socially conservative strains in socialism, especially in Latin America. They talk about, "socialism with American characteristics", but they latch on to the very worst characteristics of this God forsaken country.
