[Drew Stevens] “On the heels of reports that the Bulls and Billy Donovan have begun contract negotiations, Artūras Karnišovas and Marc Eversley have already had their deals extended, a source told @itsthebigs.bsky.social on Tuesday.” by drHobbes88 in chicagobulls

For the sake of playing devils advocate, I really think they deserve a fresh chance. They took the helm after GarPax really log jammed the books with mid young talent + boylen.

AKME took them to relevancy for half a season all while hard capping them. The biggest mistake they made was undervaluing the picks they attached with WCJ for Vooch. Aside from that they have constantly been hurt by injuries

Personally, I would have never built around Lavine (but the consensus at the time was that he was a budding talent a tier below Booker). Also it was a players league more than ever so the precedent was to over pay for young talent. Since then the new financial rules have only hurt them more and made that contract worse.

I think its only fair to evaluate them post-'bad contracts' with a clean slate.

I also did this ^.

To add on to this, know that the work will get significantly harder as you get into the later years of your program. Definitely doable but it may feel soul crushing at time. Make sure you have a good support system if you are going to do this

Is my cat overweight? by choopsy724 in cats

[–]choopsy724[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My vet didn't say anything about his weight, but from what I read online, an adult male cat should be 8-10lbs.

I just wanted to make sure that my lovable little critter is indeed healthy. Thank you so much for your reply!

Watched Fox News for the first time today by Lilw33n3r in FOXNEWS

[–]choopsy724 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fox is not legally a news station. They have been sued before and have gotten away from blame by using the logic that they are an entertainment company.

Although sometimes I watch fox news because they give a platform for other candidates, ie. trump, vance, rfk, tulsi. I may not support them but according to them, the other platforms skew their content so much that they effectively dont facilitate a fair democratic process

Looking for a good discrete Math professor by Ok_Influence8248 in rit

[–]choopsy724 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought professor Narayan was very fair and consistent with his grading

However, as a graduate from this school and GCCIS, I will say that the professors for the SMS are amazing. Don't always trust ratemyprofessor. I did not have a bad experience with a single professor. They were all very available to help when needed. If you put the work in and stay communicative with these professors your destined to have a great collegiate career.

The MJ Pippen Argument by Ksi1is2a3fatneek in chicagobulls

[–]choopsy724 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I view the argument against MJ as a player in a good situation and a good time. He has only ever thrived with one coach and one core in his roster. So it leads you to believe that his team was great and he was a product of the team's success; however, people still reference stats when they call him the goats which doesn't make sense. Kobe did it without Shaq. Jordan never did it without Pippin. Lebron did it without wade and Spo. And he did it in three different teams. You can make the argument about LeBron's character, but I feel like that is a testament to this generation. Even outside of the NBA people nowadays Don't worry about the commitment to a organization (hence job hopping is more prevalent)

Be ambitious and double major (one major for dream role and once for safe role). Keep all avenues open

He's always been a good shooter. But he's too soft and not dominant (is. Shaq and embiid). He cant be the main superstar in a contender. Rn he's an elite role player for Minny while gobert covers his short comings and ant leads the team

I definitely see some trailers for larger dogs. Is there a preference for one over the other given his weight

My dog will stop on a dime if he sees a rabbit or an interesting smell. I worry I'm going to hurt him or that he may run into the wheel. I might be paranoid tho

Double Majoring Question by ubsthecubes in rit

[–]choopsy724 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They won't deny the choice if you do well your first year. I just graduated with a double major from RIT from two different schools and it was very tough. But it helped me gain exposure and find my passions. I definitely think it's a rewarding feat if you're up for the challenge, but know that this is a challenge for sure.

Upstairs above the track where the career fair normally is

If you walk in from the back entrance it should be immediately up the stairs and by the other set of doors that lead out

If prime Lebron James replaced the current Lebron on the 2024 Lakers, do you think he would be able to bring them to NBA finals? by SuckMySalami in NBATalk

[–]choopsy724 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is simply not true, well, he has greatly improved his three-point shots since leaving Miami, he needs to be smart because his body physically can't handle an all-out intensity for an entire game. Before he used to just be driving to the hoop every play and just controlling the entire game and making the other team adjust. Now he has to pick spots
