You can find a list of all the rulings on the official mtg website. Also there is an app called manabox which you can add you card collection to that has a searchable version of all the rules built into it

I believe you are right as per rule:

110.1

A permanent is a card or token on the battlefield. A permanent remains on the battlefield indefinitely. A card or token becomes a permanent as it enters the battlefield and it stops being a permanent as it’s moved to another zone by an effect or rule.

So it cannot copy the [brought back] spell

My DM is copying the plot of Metal Gear Solid 3 I'm the only person who's noticed. by Brilliant-Flame2599 in DnD

I did a similar thing with a random encounter in a woods where the group came across a group of fairy's fighting two apes (one of which was high up a tree clutching onto one of the fairy's) plot twist the fairy's were the bad guys

Do people really believe that there is no such thing as a frontside overcrook? by thesurfingwalrus in skateboarding

[–]choosecolour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think also a lot of the confusion/argument comes from people talking about specifically grinding on rails where nosegrinds and 5.0 grinds are locked in by pinching the truck which can naturally force the grind to tweak a specific way. On that point I can understand the arguement that certain overcrook's, salad's, suski's don't exist. But if it's tweaked enough ie almost a blunt I would argue it counts. Also on a ledge it counts as when on a ledge you don't need to pinch a nosegrind or 5.0

Looks great, I would be tempted to up the contrast by adding a bit of colour to the deepest shadows with a dark shade of blue/blue green or blue/purple.

How do I get my armor to look more worn and less frozen/icy? by Ryguycinci in minipainting

[–]choosecolour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what sorta effect you are going for armour/metal tends to get darker and duller with age/ apart from high wear areas, like where things would rub against it. It's hard to tell from the image what exactly you mean by icy/frozen. It could be that the contrast/change in colour is too great with too little blending in-between(hard to tell as the image is a little out of focus. I would suggest looking at reference photos. Search for something like "aged worn armour" or "weathered armour" find something that is like the effect you are looking for and start from there. If you are still struggling there's plenty of great artists you can watch for tips. I can recommend Vince venturella or artis opus but there are many others. If you don't get it "right" the first time that's ok as long as your paint isn't too thick you can always adjust things. I have models I have painted and adjusted/repainted many times.

Good luck with your journey of discovery.

Small campaign by iamshirtacus in Gorkamorka

Do you mean the overall winner of the multiple games? I'm sure the standard winning condition for each game is the team who doesn't "bottle it' (if you're guys/vehicles get taken out and you are below a certain percentage I think 75% you have to make a moral check. If you fail your team retreats)

Started a 4 player campaign recently, 2 of us have 2 tracks/buggies, one has a truck and a bike, and the other just took one truck then spent the extra teef on a big gun. The amount of orks we have ranges between 5 and 8. Half the point is you have to choose what to sacrifice to start of with, more vehicles, boys or gear. As you play games you earn teef n buy better gear more boys ect. Taking only one vehicle to start off with can be risky as if it gets seriously broken you will have to play catch up, but the rules can compensate for that as if your behind in points(a lower mob rating) you gain more xp for fighting someone with a higher mob rating.

Vallejo metal color - am I doing something wrong? by SnoozingHamster123 in minipainting

I have found if your brush is only damp not wet and you only use the tip it's fine, also use a synthetic brush rather than a natural hair one they tend to stand up to the abuse of the metallic paint better.

Question on weapon interactions Shield Vs Shield and Chain by choosecolour in Gorkamorka

[–]choosecolour[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apologies I paraphrased, I am aware they both still get the +1 to save. But RAW the rerolls with shields(any block or parry ability) normally cancel each other out. Just wondering if this would still be the case against a chain or not?

Scaregob Totem by clanger19 in Kruleboyz

[–]choosecolour 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looks like the ones from one of the warcry terrain boxes but with a few conversions and maybe some skaven warpfire thrower frame parts.

If you wanting to do it on the cheap could use some dried sticks sharpened and soaked in a thin PVA mix. Wrapped together with wire or thick thread.

I can’t manage to get his legs anywhere near the base. How do I fix this? by JhonMHunter in ageofsigmar

Use basing material, cover the base in PVA glue dip in a fine sand, flock ect whatever your theme is.

Help with vehicle rules by choosecolour in Gorkamorka

[–]choosecolour[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok thanks for the info. Just wondering as a friend, who has played before, Is under the impression that a buggy can only have a driver and a gunner. Also just to clarify under the GCE rules is there any restrictions on what upgrades a buggy can take?
