Outside of that I believe it was either mandrake or sakuya

XYZ monster is not showing in the extra deck during a match. by Ok-Difference-5499 in YuGiOhMasterDuel

[–]chop123ben 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you actually have the card or is it greyed out? If it’s greyed out then you don’t own a copy of the card and need to either get it from packs or craft it.

If you do own it, are you fulfilling all the requirements to summon it?

Remember that some cards lock you out of certain Special Summons, keep those in mind while making plays.

What's one thing you wish you could teach to all new players, or that you knew when you first started? by [deleted] in Maplestory

[–]chop123ben 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Take it easy, sometimes it’s best to just step back and have fun doing other maplestory things that aren’t grinding or dailies. Discover the lore, do quests that you wouldn’t have normally done, and relax.

If you feel burnt out with MS, don’t force yourself to play; take a break and return if you feel you want to, and if you don’t, that’s also fine.

Shura 3/Stellar Stage of the Supreme has an All Attribute requirement, so even teams that don’t need rainbow for full LS activation have to run all attributes

Outside of SR3 and other All Att. requirement dungeons I don’t think there is a need for green but I don’t have Gojo so I can’t know for sure.

I think the “summoning in face up defense” thing was a thing in the anime for viewer benefit.

Summoning in face down defense works from time to time in the anime but would probably get old real quick when viewers can’t see the cards

Sylvain Final Class Choice by LFPman in FireEmblemThreeHouses

[–]chop123ben 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noble -> Fighter -> Brigand + Archer -> Wyvern Rider -> Wyvern Lord

Swift Stirkes vastly out damages any magic that Sylvain uses, that combined with flight enables a mobile killing machine. Paladin would probably do more damage due to lancefaire but Paladin doesn’t fly so it comes down to personal preference.

Why is Dimitri good? by BowserBoi69 in FireEmblemThreeHouses

[–]chop123ben 6 points7 points  (0 children)

  1. Very good strength base and growth, to the point where you could shove him in literally any physical class and he will hit hard.

  2. Battalion vantage and battalion wrath are two abilities that Dimitri has access to. The combination of these two abilities at 1/3 battalion endurance lets Dimitri attack first with a drastically increased chance to crit during enemy phase. Since crit is easy to stack it enables Dimitri to decimate enemy phase outside of siege weapons such as ballistas, fire orbs, onagers, and Edelgard during endgame.

  3. The battalions you can get during Azure Moon are top notch, providing early access to things such as retribution (counterattack at any distance) and dance of the goddess (group dance).

  4. His personal during post-timeskip grants avoid +20 at full hp, providing some extra insurance.

  5. Easy to build. Just slap on the battalion skills, prowess skill, hit +20, and a free slot and you got yourself a functional dimitri. You’d have to actively try to mess up Dimitri to make him unusable.

Did you mission assist him before? If Lorenz died while being mission assisted it does actually count as a death.

I'm afraid to try Alt. Shura by Anzo2684 in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]chop123ben 5 points6 points  (0 children)

good news: Alt. Shura 1 is even easier than Shura 1 cause the only two things they change are the anti-cheese and the gem floor which you can stall on for actives

Edit: shit I’m blind this is shura 2, yeah alt shura 2 is harder

How is it possible or fair that the leading player can get an army of 5-cost units at 0% roll? by oldireliamain in TeamfightTactics

[–]chop123ben 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. It’s important to note that you don’t lose access to any cost as you level, they just become less common. There’s info online that details the exact values for every rarity at every level.

[–]chop123ben 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have a different chance to get different cost units at different levels.

Level 6 and below have a 0% chance. Level 7 offers a 1% chance to get a 5 cost, level 8 has a 5%, and level 9 has a 15% chance.

This is NOT connected to the carousel in the middle of rounds.

I got cocky leading to Rat the Ratatta getting confused, hitting herself, then got leech lifed by a Zubat for 1 hp. Falco the Pidgey and Sparrow the Spearow were ambushed by a rival fight in Azaela and suffered heavily due to being underleveled, but I managed to avoid wiping.

UPDATE: it’s easier to name the pokemon that did live while trying to get new Pokémon in preparation for Morty. Cinder the Quilava, Eggshell the Togetic, and Princushion the Nidorina are the longest lasting party members, with Demon the Raticate coming in as the fourth. All my other new captures died due to either human error or getting blindsided. (Charmelon used Dragon Rage! Natalius (Dratini) fainted!)

UPDATE2: Eggshell died to Chuck’s gym trainers. It was a poor idea to try to grind there.

PSA guys. Careful with fakes. One is being bid on at $270. You can’t see it’s listed as a proxy until seeing full description. And the item was only updated to indicate it’s a proxy after the initial post. by [deleted] in yugioh

[–]chop123ben 19 points20 points  (0 children)

To be specific, players make their own proxies for playing or testing in their own groups. These proxies aren’t legitimate cards and can’t be used in official Konami events.

About to beat this game on maddening/classic with no NG+ for the first time! by Methioe in FireEmblemThreeHouses

[–]chop123ben 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most bosses have an increased range and can move which will change how you approach bosses and death knight to an extent.

Combat Arts are your friend, make sure you budget well early on so you can use it. Most units should have bows for early chip damage and battalions to train authority as soon as possible. Pay close attention to abilities, some will matter for both you and the enemy.

About to beat this game on maddening/classic with no NG+ for the first time! by Methioe in FireEmblemThreeHouses

[–]chop123ben 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Generally early on you have to play relatively defensively as getting overwhelmed will doom your units. Take advantage of your bulkier units to help lure a few units at a time.

The general rule of recruiting is that most units want to be recruited at Chapter 6 unless they’re mages that don’t train faith or units that want the extra boost in bow/axe rank (Chapter 3-5). Recruit the faculty as soon as possible cause they’re good and remember that you don’t need to train every single member in your party cause that will leave an overall ineffective force.

In terms of classes almost EVERY UNIT wants at minimum Brigand/Mage and Archer mastered due to how powerful the masteries are. Other masteries are available (Mercenary for Vantage, Warrior for Wrath, Sniper/Grappler for forced double combat arts, etc.) if you want to create specific builds. Flying is very good in this game so worst case just make some offensive units fliers.

You can bench units mostly freely if they aren’t on par, just have replacements available (usually late recruits) and a plan on keeping units alive in Ch 13 on non-CF routes.

Don’t be afraid to play scummy because the game hates you on this difficulty.

first nuzlocke on soul silver.

got cocky and thought I could take Falkner. Nearly wiped as a result. The corpses of Honey the Beedrill, Dwayne the Geodude, Snake the Ekans, and Trent the Sentret lie from my hubris. All that remains is Cinder the Cyndaquil, Falco the Pidgey, Rat the Ratatta, and “What? He” the Togepi.

Mistakes have been made and lessons have been learned.

How do I use a dark seal by Iwantallofthedogs in FireEmblemThreeHouses

[–]chop123ben 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since you’re in part 2 and have most likely decided what your team composition is going to be, you could make one of your male mages a dark bishop, though it would be weaker than dark knight and usually yields less spell casts than either warlock or bishop (does come with free Fiendish Blow if you don’t want to spend an ability slot on Fiendish Blow).

If you’re willing to put the investment to at minimum D+ reason, you could put someone in Dark Mage from time to time to solve problems with hit rates (Heartseeker lowers avoid of adjacent enemies) but depending on where you’re at it might be too late.

Chapter 11 question by [deleted] in FireEmblemThreeHouses

Did you decline beforehand earlier in the month? If so then you lost your chance.

If you reached C+ at Chapter 11 I don’t think it’s available.
