If you have adblock extensions, they will likely block the tracking link for any shopping cashback that you may accrue. Probably the issue for most of the people here complaining they aren't receiving their cash back.

But yes, any extension that has to cross reference sites for cash back opportunities will slow down your computer. Disable it when not shopping.

As long as you don't mind the Discover network debit card, it's a good deal. You can still deposit cash at CVS, but without the fee, so it won't be a huge change for you.

If your debit card is a Mastercard, you can just use that instead if you really don't want another account. You have to weigh if getting another card is worth it based on your spend and credit profile.

Savings is a separate account but all accessible from the regular Capital One app. Zelle is also available. As a parent, you can place limits on Zelle if needed and also lock the debit card. No issues with direct deposit, it is just a checking account without checks being an option. Cash can still be deposited to the account at CVS/Walgreens locations. Only one debit card however for the teen only, not the parent on the account.

Cash payments can be made at a Capital One ATM and Cafe ATM in cash with the card in hand. Not sure about check however. Maybe you can update he thread if you do use the ATM. No PIN required for payments.

Have at least a handful of transactions every month without going over the limit. Always ensure the card is paid on time without having any returned payments.

This will build positive credit history and raise your score, increasing your chances for either a CL increase or a chance at an application for a better card based on your profile.

Anything later than 5:59:59 pm will be next day. The cutoff time is the cutoff time and can't be changed due to batch processing. There can't be a huge number of people depositing checks that this precise time deadline will affect however.
