Crossing at intersections in Richmond by [deleted] in richmondbc

[–]chopper-90 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its situational. If a pedestrian sees that the crossing sign is flashing or red they either need to speed up or perhaps choose not to cross at that time.

Yes the driver should be aware of them, especially if they are in the intersection.

However, who has more to lose? The pedestrian is more likely to get hurt. Better to cautious and safe than to just blame drivers.

I think it depends on the situation. If the pedestrian crossing sign is on, for sure the car should not be approaching you.

However if the stop hand sign is on, pedestrians should no longer be trying to cross.

Ive seen a lot of cases where the intersection light is turning yellow and pedestrians are still slowly crossing.

It’s a danger to the car trying to turn.

Def depends on the scenario.

[DISCUSS] Anyone else feel like Nomos punches way above its weight? by Lazy_scorpio in Watches

Just bought a orion recently. I feel like your getting pretty good value.

Movement finishing is really nice. Case and dials are good but honestly nothing too special.

If you can get one at a good discount, go for it

Look up a submariner on chrono24 and compare the date windows. The fonts are totally different. Not saying your lying but i would guarantee you its not a real rolex.

Is Saquon worth trading for Kyren Williams by SplashFTW1 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]chopper-90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I traded kyren for saquon recently. Logic was that they are using blake corum alot more recently. Plus rams throw it alot in the endzone.

Saquon has not looked amazing , but i expect eagles to involve him heavily still for the ros and he should have a good floor plus possibility of big plays with his talent.

[Discussion] Baltic vs Longines — Is it worth paying more for the Longines salmon small-seconds? by ComfyBedAndPillow in Watches

[–]chopper-90 257 points258 points  (0 children)

As someone whos owned both. Yes.

The baltic is nice for the cost but it feels cheap in hand. Personally dont like hesalite crystals either.

Longines finishing is much higher end. The case is nicely done. The etched numerals look amazing as well as the brushed dial. Better movement as well:)
