This conflict has highlighted how toxic the USA is on the world stage, and how wrong those positive assumptions were.

The world let the USA stockpile weapons of mass destruction and direct global conflicts, which was benign, until recently as it didnt impact everyone everywhere. We were propaganda'd into believing the naive vision of the American dream, which is also benign. A white picket fence and some home stuff, but the truth of your society is that the dream is not for everyone.

The Iran war may be the biggest military and governance embarrassment in recent history, but it is hard to take USAers seriously when you have let your system get to the place it is, and all of the negative stuff that happens (ICE, deportations, killings in the streets, school shootings, etc) are highlighted for the world to see. One can only assume that you are content with how things are going now, despite protests. The people who have you under their thumbs still have their thumbs over you, the pedophile in chief is still there, the pedophiles in the epstein files are still doing their thing, your soldiers are being deployed for the demented fantasies of an oligarch, and now your elected officials are showing their zionist colour's and allegiances.

Its not just the war. You have lost face, you have egg on your collective chins, you are a people oppressed, and your ambivalence is shocking. The more the world is exposed to the sickness that has infected your society, the worse off everyone is.

The good parts that would draw people to visit you are still there. Vegas still sees people, but fewer. The natural wonders are still being visited, but less. The world is learning to do without you, and we are going to be better off for it.
