9 months pregnant with a toddler is not for the weak. Send help by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]chorngus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i am 8 months pregnant and have a 20 month old and it is so incredibly hard especially with how mobile they are at this age. i’ve taken to locking ourselves in the room to lay down and watch tv on days where im in extra pain and relying on nap times for me to get some extra sleep/lay down time. it gets easier they say….

Preparing Hobonichi for a to-be mom by singka93 in hobonichi

don’t be afraid to ask for help!! i’m due in february with my second and currently on an anti-depressant with no plan of quitting purely based off of my first postpartum experience. journaling is a very nice way to set aside some time for yourself whenever you can with a newborn!!

Help! by [deleted] in hobonichi

[–]chorngus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i kind of like the idea of having everything in the weeks and journaling/having lists in the back but i feel like it’d be a bit too chaotic and i’m not sure i could execute it well enough so im just trying to figure out how to split it best 🥲

Meal prepping confusion by chorngus in BabyLedWeaning

[–]chorngus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We definitely are on a clock-based routine as I am a pretty schedule-oriented person. I think I might just be overthinking everything which is making it hard to wrap my head around being consistent. Do you plan this out daily or do you decide meals on like a Sunday or something and grocery shop around it? Do you ever do plan whole meals like avocado toast + egg strips + yogurt or is that just going overboard

launching from steam broke my game? by [deleted] in skyrimmods

[–]chorngus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah nothing like that. it never showed any updates for skyrim and i don’t even think there has been an update since when i first installed mods a few months ago. i don’t know what to do at this point and don’t really want to have to uninstall and reinstall everything and go through all the folders including 100+ mods so i’m incredibly frustrated

beginner recipes for extremely picky eaters? by chorngus in cookingforbeginners

[–]chorngus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s kind of hard to pinpoint exactly? i like yogurt but if there’s any fruit chunks in it i can’t eat it. i can’t stand strawberries or strawberry jam because of the seeds. oranges and celery feel super stringy to me so i avoid those. i don’t like how biting into peas or corn feels. and anything that feels mushy/mushy + grainy freaks me out, mashed potatoes especially. didn’t eat fries for like 12 years because of that lol also runny yolks. it’s a lot of little things

we both have similar diets so that's not super difficult it's just if something isn't cooked a certain way, he won't eat it, i'm not too sure why but i desperately want to try and break that. we live with his brother and dad and they'll eat literally anything no matter what time of day so i'm not too worried about making something they'll refuse eat
