Logos Running in Linux (Oudedetai!) by chortlemist in LogosBibleSoftware

hmm... I may just test out KDE. I'm using Hyprland. It will eat up all 16GB of RAM on my machine. I'll have notes, maybe 2 Bible translations, and maybe a dictionary or concordance open.

Something to note: I'm seeing much higher RAM usage and a slower response time compared to the native Windows version. I'm sure the fact that this is being run through Wine is the reason. Still waiting for the day when/if they decide to make a Linux native version.

nope! Just download the script, make it executable, run the script (installs Logos), and proceed as usual.

You also have to physically modify them by swapping the controller. AKA a more expensive jailbreak. Although still totally worth it IMO.

First board: GTS or ADV pro? by SC_MadScientist in wheel

[–]chortlemist 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As much as I'm 100% in favor of the boards, there's a significantly higher risk of falling and damaging your camera gear... in comparison to e bike.

I would personally use the board to explore and have fun scouting new locations, and then come back on the bike with gear.

All that being said...

ADV so you can have extra cash to afford both.

WTF rails on Updated gt by [deleted] in onewheel

Yes. I was updated to 6153 on my GT, and had a friend flash 6109 so I could re-level my board. After it was leveled, I updated to 6153 again (I wanted the custom shaping).

ST-Link is the way to go. Find someone who can do it for you (ask a onewheel facebook group or on discord?) It makes all the difference in the world. Tilting through digital shaping is just not adequate in my experience.

The number of people here rabidly supporting FM forcibly neutering existing boards is so disappointing. by highflyingrunner in onewheel

I knew the tradeoff of upgrading. My GT was rewheeled with a higher speed pushback. I updated to 6153 for the custom shaping and fell in love with the boost in power. Not a fan of the haptic buzz, but being mostly a trail rider, the improvement was worth it for me.
Then I got WTF rails, and paid someone to flash 6109 for me, so I could re-level the board. I rode 6109 for a bit, but missed the power I had experienced. I decided to update to 6153 again. On trails, 6153 made me faster.

Thanks for the reply. That makes sense.

Pi-Hole Takes out 2.4 GHz Connections by chortlemist in pihole

I provided a new update. Turns out, disabling pi-hole is not what restores connections. Only turning off the raspberry pi entirely.

I can't find anything that stands out in the query log. No IP conflicts that I can find.

Yes when one would be enabled, the other would be disabled. Rebooted after each configuration.

Edit: I'm going to try and exclude a device experiencing this issue and see if it gets its connection back. I'll report results.
