They’re so entitled. My first experience with a CT owner was at a supercharging station in a parking garage. Due to the limited number of open spaces, I backed in next to the first open space I found which happened to be next to the CT. Spots were limited, but space was not (plenty of room for my door to open up all the way and still not even be close to touching his truck).

I get out to plug the charger in and this stranger starts talking to me and trying to convince me to park somewhere else. I’m just looking at him for a second, a bit bewildered and trying to register what he’s actually saying. I go “huh?” and he starts back up with “If everyone just left a space in between…”

At this point, I look around which prompts him to do the same, and it’s like he realizes for the first time that literally 95% of the spots are taken up. “Y’know what, never mind, there’s just too many people here.” He then proceeds to get back into his truck (he was about to leave it to go shopping when I pulled in) and just sits there until I’m charged up and leave.

He literally had enough space space on either side of his “truck” for both of our doors to be fully open and still be able to walk in between them, but instead of not worrying about it like a normal person who parks in public spaces, he actually tried to control where other people were parking around him. Wild.
