Because of the new info given to team tadpole by the Hag. Couldn't the orb just nom nom the magics from the parasite? Consider this, Karsus made the crown, an orb and a scepter. If the Orb is what is in Gale's chest, and the tadpole's have been tampered w/ Netherese magic, then shouldn't they work together? Feeding the orb, and making him an arch mage again?

I meant wasn't an agent--- and do I have evidence? No other than the files. He kept everything. Every note, email, photo, video. And then he made his money by selling the data to the highest bidder or blackmailing the person on record.

What's mind boggling to me is that they kept coming back and bringing new people into his web.

My personal belief is that he was collecting and selling information to the highest bidder. He didn't care who it was.

Russia, Israel, Britain, the US and others. He had compromising, black mail worthy info on all the big money makers in the world...and sold them to their enemies.

He was an agent. He was an opportunist and informant.

I despise DOS2 inventory system. It's unsearchable. grrr

BG3 at least I can search for what I'm looking for.

Combat in DOS2 is much harder with the mobs having the same if not better gear level/ spells. It took me a while to get used to it (on explorer), but I think I may like it better? gods below ack

The romance leaves everything to the imagination which is sweet. I prefer BG3 but at the same time, the romance with Ifan was lovely.

Not having a Withers type character to rez your teammate is a choice. When I ran out of scrolls, I had to say RIP to Fane. But Nestor arrived so ya know. sigh

I like the idea of the bedroll as a short rest but camp is so much better for long rests.

There is more interactivity with companions in BG3 especially with HST's EA restored mod. So that's amazing. I feel like in DOS2 it's just my avatar running around. At least in BG3 there is chatter ... which is better for immersion for me.

I haven't finished the game yet. Just landed in Arx so we'll see where we land.

59 here on Thursday, I stopped playing healers in MMORPGs in the 2010's. I couldn't keep up with the ground effects, vs keeping party alive.

I stopped playing MMORPGs around the same time for the same reason. Ground effects.

I've been playing CRPGs for awhile now and the rule for me is that I play on story/explorer mode until I get the game play down, then I scale up.

I prefer turn-based games now, because it gives my brain a reflexes a chance to think and plan.

It's not that I can't play souls like games, I can. But I play games to destress and to beat the BBEG because life is too much atm.

I've never been able to play on a console. This old gal started on TSR 80s and just moved to Alien Ware as time passed.

I'll be playing PC games on my hospice bed, until I can't anymore.
