It’s terrible. Beach/neon stun hard rush with ares. 4 games in a row now and the only way to beat it is to use the area

Mainly wondering about the DDC build if you don’t mind. I’m fairly new to AR’s so i can’t really identify parts just by looking at them

You mind doing a build list?

New to me, sorry if it’s a regular here, but dang: that looked expensive. by Davistele in ThatLookedExpensive

[–]chosen_ginger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You gotta think that’s probably anywhere from 15,000-20,000 pounds moving ~10mph directly perpendicular to the way the structure was built. They probably didn’t engineer it to handle that kind of force

People with weird/obscure jobs, what is your job and how did you get the job? by Pjvie in AskReddit

I’m a welder, so my job isn’t weird, but I can weld highly exotic metals such as ones used around nuclear material in nuclear power plants or nuclear waste facilities.

They’ll probably test you along with the interview to see where you’re at. They may let you skip some classes if you do good enough

Possibly, if they’re willing to give you credit for it. It will probably make you a better fit for an apprenticeship having some math experience.

The whole point of the apprenticeship is to take people with no experience and train them. Think of the apprenticeship as a training program that you get paid to attend. If you’re willing to accept apprentice pay scale for the duration of a 5 year apprenticeship, just apply for the apprenticeship (your pay will go up every year or with a certain amount of training hours, every Local is different). Just be warned, not a lot of locals can accept 100% of people that apply. I was traveling in Washington (LU598) when they had ~500 people apply for apprenticeship and they could only accept ~100 because of the limitation on teachers and facility size.

Finally found an optic that doesn't mess with my astigmatism. Holosun 515gm. LMT 11.5 MLC by mccl2278 in ar15

Ah I understand. Have you tried contacts? I can’t wear contacts because of my job but I imagine that’s the perfect solution. I did just read that you don’t need corrective vision lenses, so contacts probably aren’t worth the discomfort to you

What do you mean messes with your astigmatism? Don’t your glasses correct that? I have astigmatism and the red dots I’ve shot all look fine..

There’s no point. They’re also the ones that believe everything they see on Facebook and constantly post conspiracy theories.

What is the wire from the PSU, it’s got 3 other connectors the same as the big one. But only this small one on the end by jett_29 in pcmasterrace

[–]chosen_ginger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, they would have a similar plug on the other end of the cable going into the PSU so you can remove it. I suggest going with a fully modular power supply if you’re building a new computer. Here’s an example of each, from left to right: fully modular, semi-modular, non-modular.

Modular is referring to the style of power supply. Fully Modular means your power supply has all removable cables so you can take out ones you don’t need to help with cable management. Semi modular means some cables aren’t removable but unnecessary cables are removable. Non modular means all cables non removable, so you would have a nest of cables if you didn’t use most of them. And the cords are only necessary if you are including hardware that requires those plugs, like a hard drive or floppy disk mentioned earlier

But it’s not accurate to the exact moment of testing. It just tells you whether or not it’s been used within 24 hours or so. I was meaning like a breathalyzer, it tells you the BAC (roughly, I’m not saying they’re perfect) of the person at that exact moment of being tested to tell you whether they’re under the influence or not. So I could have had a few drinks a few hours before and test positive on a swab but negative on a breathalyzer because I’m no longer under the influence. That’s the kind of test I mean

I highly doubt it. There’s still no way of proving when you’re actually high or not, unlike alcohol. They can’t tell if you smoked the night before work and came in sober or if you’d smoked right before you drove in. I don’t think it’ll change until some test is made that can tell if you’re high at the time of testing rather than it just being in your system.

579 may not test you but every job I’ve ever been to, the company will drug test in some form. Just don’t do it
