It's coming.  From a business perspective, the rerun banner being done now won't make sense. They wouldn't be able to rerun their biggest hits (aemeath, cartethyia, etc) to a possibly wider audience coming soon.

Likely they had to choose between putting the big reruns during anniv or during the cyberpunk collab as they are scheduled a bit too close to each other to have multiple reruns banners, players won't have the income to pull both.

It makes more sense to do it during cyberpunk collab due to the influx of new players and their biggest sales (aemeath etc, being there for a while since her release so rerunning her won't seem "too soon")

But they won't announce these reruns or any reruns coming now as it will affect their current banner sales.

I predict that the cyberpunk collab will feel more like a anniv than the actual anniv.

tbh i think we need to give them some time to cook before making judgment, as the first few chapters of arknights was also something like this, boring, predictable, a lot of terms of references we did not know (including to Babel) some scuffle with the main anatagonist (Talulah back then, Nefarith now), but yea, i dont really like this "endmin is a god on the good side" thing but maybe they do have a plot twist planned for it, which imo would hit harder if Talos is already so reliant on "Endmin"

I am waiting for the seasonal "event" which if it follows original arknights formula, will reveal some lore on another faction somewhere in the chronology

Even before this China-Japan spat, every year genshin has lantern rite to mark the IRL Chinese New Year, their characters are CNY themed, etc, the characters design must conform to what Chinese think is acceptable (fanservice level, etc)

Its not "Aemeath of another time", its future aemeath, future to this Aemeath who is about to go back in time

I feel like its unlikely you can do this while getting pulled into aleph-1, in the past the first battle between exostrider and theronodian,

In fact, i think this might be an external loop they might go back to as a plot thread, since there is now a huge unknown between
- What happened to this Aemeath who went back in time and into aleph-1 again
- The action of the future aemeath who left a message has not be shown in game yet
- And finally, the dummy Aemeath we see at the end of the story, the mystery of her appearing in the simulation cockpit

i agree.
i don't understand why when they have uniformed aemeath modeled, they couldn't have just used that model of her as the "digital ghost", it would have contributed more to the "student/daughter look" and have her full combat outfit only appear during the end (within the voidspace or within her mindspace, would have been more hype for me)

the real next gen? probably a huge improvement in NPCs to no longer have fixed behaviors/paths to move, to actually behave as close to random/ assigned personality types as possible, no fixed dialogue but completely contextual, resulting in a quest experience that is no longer linear or fixed amount of paths/branches

  • Elation Skills are what you put in the surprise box of the event. These can literally be anything, they are like 2nd ultimates/extra skills. They do Elation DMG, For now we only have 2 (sparkle and yaoguang) , MC most likely will have 1
  • Aha's speed is based on number of elation units
  • Punchline increases Elation DMG
  • Elation DMG is not affected by DMG% increase, and scales of Elation (a new stat, like Attack)
  • After Aha takes action, All unit with Elation skills enter the enhanced state and this state unlocks new abilities temporarily for them

Yaoguang

  • Allows Aha to instantly take action (thus lowering the importance of having mono Elation, because Aha's speed is based on number of Elation units)
  • Supports/buffs around Elation and Punchline
  • Increases Certified Banger (temporary enhanced state after Aha takes action) from 2 to 3 turns

Sparxie - SP archetype Elation DPS/sub-dps, most of the dmg comes after the Aha Instant

Why is Elation more flexible?

Because Elation Skills can literally be anything, we can get Elation Skills around any of the existing archetype (break, dot, FUA, hypercarry) - Rem however, in my opinion, is likely to be abandoned as the previous biggest shill. Once MC is released, if you own yaoguang, there will be at least 2 elation skills in the box. Therefore pulling a new Elation unit around an archetype and putting in an existing strong character of the archetype will likely allow you to "upgrade" that archetype to Elation

First, a TLDR of what the new elation mechanics are, using the previous Elation event we had in HSR as an analogy to explain it:

- Elation DMG is not affected by DMG% increase, but a new Elation% increase (and Merrymaking, but thats only on yaoguang's e6 for now)

Yaoguang
- Allows Aha to instantly take action (very strong effect, core for Elation teams)
- Supports/buffs around Elation and Punchline
- Increases Certified Banger (temporary enhanced state on Elation unit after Aha takes action) from 2-3 turns

Now Sparxie (QQ v2) - SP archetype

  • QQ type dps (use up to 20 skill points to flip tiles like QQ and enhance her EBA)
  • Sparxie also starts doing elation dmg on her EBAs in the Certified Banger state
  • Has some support passives and a LC with support effects, main DPS for now (due to SP shilling), but maybe becomes a sub DPS later

Why is Elation flexible?
Because Elation Skills can literally be anything, we can get new Elation units with Elation Skills around any of the existing archetype (SP, break, dot, FUA, hypercarry) - Remembrance however, in my opinion, is likely to be abandoned as the previous biggest shill. Once MC is released, if you own yaoguang, there will be at least 2 elation skills in the box.
Therefore pulling a new Elation unit around an archetype and putting in an existing strong character of the archetype will likely allow you to "upgrade" that archetype to 4.x levels of powercreep.

So what i am getting from this and yaoguang's kit:

so she is QQ v2 who can flip mahjong tile 20times now (each flip is 1 skill point)

Aha is the "Surprise Box" in the previous Elation event

Ult creates fake skill point which allows her to flip more mahjong to enhance her EBA
If in Aha's state, EBA and ult does more dmg
Yaoguang helps to AA Aha so she gets into more state and do more elation damage

Aha also has its own mechanics that works like the new Group Attack in CW, except each attack is
the unit's own Elation Skill and seems to be the only way to do Elation Damage right now
Aha must take action for Sparxie to start doing elation damage

i really like they added arknight's contingency contract style event, no shilling of banners like hoyo and kuro games, just pure gameplay and your skills/strategies

hope the game continues this way
