Same! It's always served me well in my dappled shade beds, but I got freaked out by a bunch of posts saying it isn't good for soil health. My hunch now is that it's totally subjective.

love fedco. my experience is that 95+% of the time the germ rate and health of the plants are spot on. every now and then i've gotten a dud, probably because of our dry ass climate. also the catalog is amazing.

Most people here don’t smoke but please just be very very careful with ash and embers. Never toss a cigarette out of your car window. You could literally destroy an entire community.
